- Seen here is a nice ride on the oldest active New Flyer DE40LFA #6357 and the only New Flyer DE40LFA in service at Bladensburg Division on the Route 80 towards Fort Totten Station.
6357 was sent to Bladensburg Division in September from Shepherd Parkway Division. As Bladensburg Division never had DE40LFAs on their active main fleet until now.
The 2008-09 New Flyer DE40LFAs are currently on their last legs and are facing retirement as the newer buses are entering service, and as most 2008 New Flyer DE40LFAs got retired in 2021 after being mistreated by Cinder Bed Road Division being contracted by Transdev. It is very sad to see them go, and I will miss them dearly.
