Other notes: After Louisville, we hit up the only known Allertor left in Ohio so that I could hear it in person. This thing was actually louder than what we were expecting from up close. Although, I honestly thought it was somewhat underwhelming from a distance, but I did get a decibel reading of 110.7 dBC from 470 feet away. From 145 feet, my meter hit 117.5, and then from 65 feet, it topped at a whopping 125.7! Honestly, both of us are a bit skeptical of our max dB readings of this because it didn't seem to be as loud as the 10/12 in Cedar Falls was to our ears, and not to mention my meter was sitting on the pavement when I got my max reading. We also didn't really feel the vibrations from it all that much, although it was still pretty damn loud from up close. I kind of wish I had gotten a distant shot of this from South 5th Street, but we didn't have a whole lot of time to spare so we just had to find a spot and set up fairly quick. Regardless, what I got still turned out nice. It felt really satisfying catching this after Louisville with all the speeding I had to do on the Interstate to get here on time. It was just an all around good day; practically everything went how we wanted and the weather was so nice and warm. Enjoy!
