    TIME STAMPS:
00:45 -- The show begins with Jasmin paying tribute to her dear friend, Ellen James Robinson who recently passed, and goes on to share some alarming statistics showing one of the widest of racial disparities relating to women's health.
2:17 -- Bun B is given his second introduction since he appeared as the first guest on People's Party, helping us create the blueprint and set the tone going forward. They discuss Bun being present on the set of Saturday Night Live with Dave Chappelle hosting and Talib and Yasiin Bey performing songs from Black Star's 'No Fear Of Time' album. They also get into Bun being a huge fan of SNL growing up, favorite comfort shows they can put on while falling asleep and Bun not being able to get through 'Breaking Bad.'
7:37 -- Bun speaks about the annual Gumball 3000 rally that he's partaken in 9 times so far. He breaks down the event created by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper that spans 3000 miles in 7 days, how much he enjoys the adventures, calling it a festival on wheels, and talks about how driving has always been such a great release. They also discuss why Talib has never owned a driver's license growing up in New York, Bun's not being a fan of subway dancers, and the challenges of parking on the streets of NY.
15:31 -- Bun reflects on the pain he felt the day of Pimp C's passing, shares why he made the conscious decision to call into the radio station and mourn his friend's death in such a public way, and talks about how working on 'II Trill' following his death was a form of therapy. They go on to discuss the early days coming up in Port Arthur, Texas and the original UGK being composed of Pimp C and Mitchell Queen, with Bun being in a different group called P.A. Militia with his friend Jalon Jackson.
20:23 -- Bun talks about his amazement of Pimp's musicality, having the best ear in hip hop, and always having a finger on the pulse of the industry. They discuss Bun and Pimp's dynamic similar to that of the yin and the yang, having different tastes in everything while holding each other in the highest regard. They also get into showing love for Ronald Isley, Rita Marley not clearing the original sample for 'Cocaine In The Back Of The Ride' and getting valuable advice from Bill Withers early in the game.
25:32 -- Bun is asked about the rise of the chopped and screwed phenomenon pioneered by DJ Screw and how it impacted the city of Houston, Texas. Bun talks about how the album, 'Ridin Dirty' was portraying a day in the life of H-Town and intended to give people an eye into Houston culture. Bun is also asked about how lean became so popular in Texas as they get into the history of the drink, how it naturally matched with screwed style music, how addictive it is, as well as how expensive it has become.
32:43 -- Talib brings up the little-known fact that the first four bars of Jay-Z's, '99 Problems' were borrowed from Bun. Bun gives his take on it being a show of mutual respect and they discuss 'Big Pimpin'' being Bun's international calling card and how he feels about being part of such an iconic record. Jasmin goes on to bring up 'International Players Anthem' as another song that will live forever, being a favorite at weddings and they discuss the power of Juvenile's, 'Back That Ass Up'.
39:48 -- Bun gives a big shout-out to one of Jas' college friends for being such a loyal fan and they talk about the music video for Slim Thug's '3 Kings' and why it didn't turn out to be one of Bun's favorite shoots. They go on to discuss how special a time the early-2000's was for Houston, everyone coming together, showing a reciprocation of love between the fans and the artists, sharing pride in their city.
44:01 -- Talib brings up one of his most proud moments in hip hop being when he was able to collab with UGK on 'Real Women'. Bun is asked to speak on Pimp's singing ability as they go on to discuss most people not being aware of his singing on hooks, how one of his dreams was to create a soul album, his efforts to pull away from singing on UGK songs in order not take away from Bun's shine, and Bun feeling Pimp was a true genius who could predict the future.
48:47 -- Bun speaks on how it's been easy for him to stay freshly geared up with the latest and greatest digs when companies are constantly sending boxes to his front door for free, and how these relationships have been mutually beneficial. They go on to discuss the history as well as the bright future of Bun's Trill Burger. It all going back to his bonding with Premium Pete over their shared love of food and the starting of a blog 10 years ago titled, 'You Gotta Eat This!.
54:46 -- Bun's powerful song 'Blood On The Dash' is brought up as he breaks down the concept of the record, illustrating the two perspectives of a routine traffic stop by police and the reality of how dangerous a situation it can be. They discuss Gary Clark Jr. and how much emotion he was able to convey on the song with his guitar playing and they also get into the Free Pimp C movement that Bun B headed while Pimp was incarcerated, and the dark place Bun was in during that time.
1:01:00 -- Jasmin brings up how much she appreciates Bun's public display of love for his wife Queenie and asks him how he knew she was the one for him. They go on to discuss the home invasion that Bun successfully fended off, his being thankful he didn't kill the man, and they get into Bun's take on gun control and how it's been one of the most utilized political footballs of today. They also explore how sports keep Texas calm and how everyone loves Pitbull, even rednecks.
1:08:49 -- Bun speaks of his wife Queenie and her efforts in urging him to lean into his conscious bag more often on records. They go on to discuss if a deep conversion had while high is actually deep and most of the younger generation not being familiar with how a young Bun B used to operate. They also get into how spirituality has been a central part of Bun's life, keeping him grounded and they explore what Bun has coming down the line, including the special announcement of a Kweli/Bun B collab record in the works.

I met Bun in 1989! I was a senior and he was a junior in high school! We became good friends! He is a genius and a comedian by nature! He introduced me to groups like De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest, Divine Styler! He is a true "hip hop head"! Coming from a town like PAT, that's something I will never forget and will always give homage to the homie for that! Salute to Bernard Freeman aka Bun B! A true living legend!💯

Bun B is one of my favorite MCs. My top 5 easily. I love hearing the interviews of how UGK (RIP PIMP C) became the who they are. I’m from the DMV area but I got hip to UGK once Big Pimpin came out but I educated myself on the history of this group. And have been a fan ever since. Love Bun B, this man is as real as they come in hip hop

Why did all the good hip-hop channels just stopp? I'm guessing too many numbers .now I see they not just trying to kill or hip-hop but now they trying to kill us too

If you are looking on TH-cam, they arent as common here, as they might be on Spotify or Apple because of an artist's deal. Also. TH-cam is censoring more n more, so hip hop probably gonna have to be careful on here.
Good shows in general are hard to come by,
but Danny Browns podcast is pretty funny
