and thats without mentioning the attacks that the streamer "held the block button" to.. were unblockable, which is indicated by the red sign that appears above the character just before the attack. To get that far without knowing that... jesus christ its like when Asmongold played Dark Souls.
@@lshe97 Gee, if only there were clear warnings that elemental attacks, thrust attacks, sweep attacks and grab attacks can't be blocked. Like the big fuck off "Perilous Attack Incoming" warning that flashes over Wolf's head and the audio cue and the tutorials that warned you of perilous attacks that you can reread.
I'm actually slightly triggered that he's saying that as if he expects us to relate to it on an obvious common sense level, when the entire game makes it abundantly clear that thats not the right thing to do. He's on one of the last bosses as well. People get pissed when they fail at this game, but most of the time they fail because dont take an interest in the gane
The last boss is the one in the white kimono you fight in a flower field in a send up to the Gehrman bossfight from Bloodborne. Sword Saint Isshin uses all four kinds of unblockable attacks, hits like a freight truck, presents few openings, can punish overly aggressive offense, reads when you're using items and responds in kind, and just to put a cherry on top he's packing a gun. It's an exam of every trick you've learned throughout the game. If you can read the signs of a perilous attack and respond in kind (jump attack for sweep, Mikiri counter for thrust, lightning reversal for the obvious) then he's manageable. If you're an idiot who still hasn't figured out dodging won't make you invincible then you deserve the pain. Funnily enough he is at his easiest in the last phase where he uses lightning attacks since that reversal is easy to pull off if you were paying attention.
The first half of the game is gonna whoop your ass, but eventually it all just clicks and you will be amazed what you can overcome. As long as you just stay calm and don’t panic, YOU GOT THIS TYRONE! Once your finished, new game plus becomes a breeze and enemies you thought were tough the first time become a joke
The problem is a lot of the people in that compilation were fighting late-game bosses and were still making basic mistakes. "Im holding block and it isnt doing anything" when the whole game has been trying to teach them not to hold block.
I just went back and beat the game on 6th difficulty last weekend. One of the best games of all time. Not many games I can go back to after I finish them.
I remember first deleting this game once I got to the Owl boss fight and losing over 20 times, then downloading it again two weeks later because I couldn't get it off my mind. This game is stress building, rage inducing and pretty tough to master... But you just keep at it, don't be afraid to look up tips online to add to your own strategies against bosses and soon enough, you'll get the platinum trophy for it like I did. One of the most challenging, but greatest gaming experiences ever 💯
From Software, thank you for blessing us with painful memories. I'll forever cherish them. Currently playing DS3 Cinders Mod and waiting for Elden Ring.
8:58 I love xQc. Don't take him seriously Tyrone. He fake rages but it's hilarious. Also a weeb is an Anime nerd and/or Japanese fanboy to the extreme.
Long story short: idk if somebody already said it but there are multiple possible ending. You have to complete certain side quests to get them unlocked and you choose at the end which ending you want
Really there are two endings with some fine details revolving around who survives the second. You either forsake Kuro and get the bad ending or forsake the Iron Code, kill Owl, and seek a way to sever yours and Kuro's immortality. It involves finding the Mortal Blade and either killing Kuro, killing Wolf, or having the Divine Child sacrifice herself to return the gift of immortality to the divine realm.
The purple glowing effect is from Divine confetti item. You can either farm them up or buy it from npc. Don’t play Sekiro like Dark Souls or you’ll have a rough time. As a soulsborne vet, it took a while to get rid of my dodge habits. Once the game clicked for me though, I had a blast and breezed through the game until the final boss lol
Funnily enough it clicked for me more easily even though I'm a huge Soulsborne nut because I had experience with Metal Gear Rising. The parry mechanic there is somewhat similar to the deflection mechanic here.
Sword saint is the final. It's a pain.... but there is also another battle at the end that's in another location that might be harder. Demon of hate (or rage)...... enjoy. Haha
Gotta get back to it Tyrone. Very picky about what games I can say I truly enjoy. This is definitely one of them. Really want to see u fight through each boss with success
lol the worst troll of a game. I played for a bit and just couldn't understand how people were enjoying playing that game. Once i saw the death penalty thing or whatever it was, that was it for me. lol
If you want some dark souls gameplay like game, you can check out The Surge 2, it's been out for a few months and it's on PS4. It's a really cool game with a sci-fi twist to it.

Dont worry about the spoilers. The bosses are different every playthrough depending on what path you take. To experience ALL bosses, you would need to finnisha and play the game over until new game + 5
A lot of these Twitch casuals are refusing to learn. The dodge is for positioning, you can't phase through enemy attacks like it's Bloodborne and you don't have a shield like in Dark Souls. It's not Soulsborne, it's a spiritual successor to Tenchu and closer to Metal Gear Rising with how much precision and rhythm plays into the combat.
I think out of every FromSoftware game I've played and every boss I've fought the Divine Dragon was weaker only than puzzle bosses like the Mist Noble and Micolash.
Played this game only for a couple weeks until i got to Isshin; died once, n realized it was gunna be a Gherman situation n haven't played in a month. Ill get back to it once my blood pressure goes down. Btw: Fightin the demon at the end....killed every boss besides him and Isshin.
The Demon of Hatred has the same weakness as Father Gascoigne. He'll be staggered for several seconds if you find the Malcontent upgrade for the Finger Whistle. Otherwise it's mostly a dodge game that takes patience. As for Isshin... Yeah. No cheese available. You can only beat him by learning the patterns because he offers almost no normal openings. If you figure out the "Goomba Stomp/Skull Cleave" which is leaping over a sweep attack, leaping onto your opponent for some posture damage and then following it up midair with a Shinobi Axe attack then you'll manage so long as you also have your Mikiri counters on point and don't get greedy.
After beating this game to get all the endings I finally plucked up the courage to play Bloodborne, right now I'm the Blood starved beast's bitch😁 Sekiro is easier in my opinion.
"Weeb" used to mean someone who is obsessed with Japanese culture. Nowadays it's misused for everything that in some way relates to Asia. Basically, if you have ever eaten sushi, you're a weeb.
Honestly most of this is people playing the same boss over and over and you basically as you play games longer your skill level goes down this has been tested in game theory.
weeb is shorthand for weaboo, which is a non japanese person that is obsessed with japanese culture to the point that they want to become japanese. You can enjoy Japanese media or be an enthusiast of Japanese culture without being a weaboo. The key is that weaboos denounce their own culture and heritage and put Japan on a pedestal. Recently people have used the term "weeb" as a sort of ironic, tongue in cheek way to say that someone watches anime/ likes anything Japan.
