Bruh I just finished the trilogy a few days ago and out of all the characters, Godot is the one I truly liked the most, how could someone actually hate him? From the way he made his first appearance to the end of the fifth case I thought he was truly the goat... It's such a shame that he doesn't get to appear in more games, but its understandable, that was the perfect end of his character arc
His tear... is a tear of a man who is fail to save the woman he love. He had lost everything, since there is only one girl he need to protect, because for his sake. This is one of the best rival in Ace Attorney I ever play.
Alright, but can we please understand how much pain and frustration Godot has been in...? He was the victim in a poisoning which left him in a coma for years, during that time, he never got to see his Mia become one of the best attorneys out there. When he woke up, he realized Mia had gone, and he couldn't do anything about it because he was in a coma, he felt so much pain and he needed someone to pin his guilt on. He blamed Wright for not protecting Mia when he had the chance, and he had dreams of winning against Wright in court to take "revenge" on him, but when he saw Mia live through him, he was shocked. He realized that he could forgive Wright, but he couldn't forgive himself. He was chasing a fantasy this entire time, and it must have been painful to realize that Wright is not responsible, instead, he realized how arrogant he was being, and how he ran away from Mia's death, and he realized that Wright picked up where she left off. The woman he loved died because he was put in a coma, he quickly pinned the blame on Wright, because he worked with Mia. He desperately tried to win against Wright in court so he doesn't feel weighed down by Mia's death anymore, but that was when he realized how arrogant he was. Now, he'll probably have to stay in prison for years now. That ending was amazing. Also, your video is so amazing, it brought tears to my eyes for someone who doesn't even exist.
I actually think he won the death penalty, since he admitted that he wanted to kill that person (either directly or indirectly, ending the life of Maya's mother)

I have found this a couple years ago, and I still come back from time to time to rewatch it when I’m feeling down. Thank you for this edit, it’s a fitting and masterful retelling of Godot’s story.

This really had me in tears.
Thanks ahah !
The original line is "The only time a lawyer can cry is when it's all over." but I think they wanted it to be universal and not just about lawyers so they changed it. But the original sounds cooler if you ask me. Great edit by the way. Made me cry.
:D

Godot was at heart a good man. Playing/watching his story made me feel his pain. And the final case amplified that pain. I finished t&t hoping he would get a good ending.
Trials and Tribulations trailer
Not to repeat what's already been said, but this is exceptionally well done.
