Followed your instructions, 1 2 3, no problem. I guess the extra penny the printer wanted to put instructions on back of card was too much for them to handle
Hey, great video! Question, did you ever have your plug on while it was raining outside? If so, did it ever trip your GFCI outlet or cause any issues? I plan on using it for my outside holiday lights but want to know if I have to / should shut off the TP Link when it is raining (or snowing)
Hello, glad you liked the video. Yes, I have had it on in multiple storms with no issues at all. I've been very surprised and happy with it! If you have any other questions.
Do you think the wifi would reach from my detached garage? I want to keep my car block heater attached to it and be able to turn it on the night before work on cold northern Canadian days/nights
They can only be associated with one account but you can simply have both phones logged into the same Kasa account to control the plugs. That is what me and my wife do.
You can configure an offset from 1 minute to 59 before or after sunrise/sunset. The away function is basically a randomized time. You set the begin and end and it will randomly turn on and off during that time.
It keeps knocking out my 2.4GHz WiFi when connected. Any ideas? I have reset my router, but keep in mind I have 2 other indoor smart plugs already and those set up just fine. I then set up the KP400 on with my hotspot and updates the firmware but still won't connect without killing the 2.4GHz WiFi
Thanks for this post. Made the set up so much easier and avoided the trial and error of structuring the device.
Excellent job showing the setup process.
THANK YOU! Been trying for days. You made it simple.
Glad it was easy for you! Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for watching and please consider liking and subscribing!

Great video. I was having problems until I followed your instructions. Now all is good. 😊
Same here. Newer model, but same general steps. 👍
Thank you. Forgot how to sit it up after a few years. Appreciate it.

The wifi light for me while connecting is white. Is that fine?
I need to get two of these. Can the app distinguish and therefore control two of these units at one time (so therefore 4 outlets)?
Yes, it can handle that for sure. Each will show up in your list of smart plugs and can be controlled independently or in a group.
Can I use this for my in-ground pool pump?
It would depend on how much power that uses.
Hi!Can I connect my AirPods Pro to the garmin vivoactive 3 music?
Can you hook up 2 phones so more than one person can access and make adjustments to time or just turn on/off to the connected devices ? Thanks

@ perfect thanks for the quick response!
How do you do to add an additionnal Kp400 if you already have one? I'm having issues trying to do that. thanks
Any issue with plugging two prongs into this smart plug?
Excellent vid. 👍

I am having TCP failure when turning on remote access to connect with my Alexa please help
What happens if the plug loses power, or WiFi outage, an event happens during that interval? It’s missed?
Somebody knows how connect it with smar life app?
Can you use with an outdoor extension cord ?
Yes, it should be fine.
Hmm labeled socket wifi power bar. Please and thank you why not just ramp that right to level 10
What does the device do or default to if the wifi connection goes down? Will my stuff stay running or turn off?
There is a manual button to turn it on or off like a regular plug.
Can I run two of that same plug? Also can I turn stuff on and off when I'm away from home with the app?
Yes, you can turn it off and on from anywhere in the world long as you have wifi on both ends.
Do sunrise and sunset have an offset, i.e. 30 mins after sunset? Also, are (slightly) randomized times supported for on/off? Thanks

@@GaugingGadgets Thank you for that info!
