  • Please grab a thick blanket or 2 and a pillow before you start this video. It begins with a 7 minute body scan to teach you to be mindfully aware of bodily sensations with kindness; forward through it if you would like but body scan can relax the body before you even start the practice. Though I appreciate the stretch a seated or standing forward fold provides in yoga, the benefits of this slow and soothing release of the hamstrings, gluteus muscles and hips can be long lasting.
