He can basically do anything now, his shield are tanky as hell, and his auto hits like a truck alongside with his ult. (I uses cresent pike btw) I was thinking to build full hp but i need to be lucky with crit damage substats
If you think about it, if you have c6, Zhongli can basically do any role (some not super optimally but good enough): -he can debuff enemies (shield passive) and buff allies (geo resonance) -be a main damage dealer (which isn't actually too bad) -a sub dps (with a battery like Albedo he can legit spam his Burst at CD) -a defender/tank (since the shield is so damn strong now) and a healer (c6). He's also a male tall character so he runs and climbs faster and has the ability to build geo constructs for extra mobility or for some puzzle solving (barring using other elements since no character other than eventually the Mc can do that). He. Can. Do. Everything. (and pretty damn well to absurdly good now)
I mean he was really weak for a 5* you can't expect everyone to roll for him since most players are f2p and they want to spend their primos on a worth while unit
Thanks to this buff, i dont have to dodge anymore when aiming using bow, that 50% elemental and phy resistance is so Usefull not to mention the debuff when doing close combat......ahhh....i feels like i was the bosses.
While other characters make sure you deal damage or help in support, ZhongLi makes sure you *survive* and that is extremely helpful in a lot scenarios.

I was in shock when I just updated the game, when I play I hold my elemental skill it summons a pillar, and when usually my pillars deal 700(1.2k crit) it becomes 1.6k(2.7 crit) looks like making rex lapis my dps paid off..
My ultimate damage on my physical build on a geo resonance + ningguang E buff deals 54k damage crit and 73k with mona buff while my geo build is 64k crit and 80k with mona buff. Wtf my max meteor damage is just 56k crit pre-buff the buffed geo is insane dude. That's only level80 and prototype starglitter.
Im hitting 85k with bennett and geo resonance....i was hitting like 67k ystdy....and im only at 48 crt rate and 132 crt damage....which isnt good at all...
I agree. Even before the buff his giant meteor saved me so many times. I would be fine with him staying like that, but now he feels powerful as he's supposed to be lorewise!

That is true, that has happened to me a couple times, but i got used to the pillar and don’t accidentally climb it anymore. Also if you accidentally climb it, just climb up really quick and do a plunge attack :D

It was mostly thanks to Geo Shield changes. They made the Geo Shield universally tough against all kinds of elements. Geo back then was so underwhelming, Im glad CN community fought for the injustice.

I decided to try on the resonance and his shield buffs. I thought "this isn't so different"... And then I realized that i wad confusing my normal hits for crits due to the increased damage. Admittedly, I haven't built much into crit damage yet. But still- the damage buff pkus the resistance debuff is a big addition.
I have faith on Zhongli since he was first release. They say he is trash to be a 5*, some say he was the weakest 5*. But I think it's time for him to use his full potential as a OP DPS Tank. It was like Mihoyo gives back the Gnosis to Zhongli.
I'm definitely going to be using him as a tank support/burst sub dps, he's so op I literally took no damage from boreas, stormterror but a little from Childe, but that can be easily avoided with decent level dodging.
zhongli buff make him just barely ok, not that broken. His E only does around 3-5k dmg/second with high amount resources. Zhongli (c1) E dmg with 3 geo contruct on field just slightly above 2 times keqing E dmg. If you build Zhongli dps then you have to pair with another geo character because his E low dmg and randomly charge. If you build Zhongli support dps then consider that albedo outcome dmg is much higher than him.
The Geo Archon just kills stuff while standing. His pillars and Enduring Rock make him feel absolutely busted. The ultimate way to feel like a boss battle “Strike me down, if you can.”
Finally! The well rounded he was always ment to be. I don't minde if he's not a geo-Diluc, I'more than happy if he's a geo-Jean (with shield instead of healing). Being able to fitt multiple roles WELL it's always a solid win in my book.

So that's why my ningguang came from doing 15k dmg per jade screen crit to 40-45k dmg per jade screen crit and went from doing 12k dmg per ult tick crit to 20-25k per ult tick crit

To be exact 150% elemental and 150% pyshical Res, his shield absorbs 250% geo Res before the buff so it is justified

my problem with zhongli, pre or post buff is just that the pillar placement is somewhat annoying, imagine you accidentally climb mid-battle
That is true, that has happened to me a couple times, but i got used to the pillar and don’t accidentally climb it anymore. Also if you accidentally climb it, just climb up really quick and do a plunge attack :D

It was mostly thanks to Geo Shield changes. They made the Geo Shield universally tough against all kinds of elements. Geo back then was so underwhelming, Im glad CN community fought for the injustice.
Dude I use him as an all rounder in my team now. Cc, op burst, support, tank, dps. Damn I can run only him in my team and not die lmao. This buff is insane I love it.

Ever since the buff i totally forgot my other DPS, because he replaced them. Zhongli is now an all rounder, DPS/Burst/Support/Tank

I decided to try on the resonance and his shield buffs. I thought "this isn't so different"... And then I realized that i wad confusing my normal hits for crits due to the increased damage.
Admittedly, I haven't built much into crit damage yet. But still- the damage buff pkus the resistance debuff is a big addition.

He was good prebuff. Content creators swayed people too much then, making us think he was weak
I have faith on Zhongli since he was first release. They say he is trash to be a 5*, some say he was the weakest 5*. But I think it's time for him to use his full potential as a OP DPS Tank. It was like Mihoyo gives back the Gnosis to Zhongli.
I'm definitely going to be using him as a tank support/burst sub dps, he's so op I literally took no damage from boreas, stormterror but a little from Childe, but that can be easily avoided with decent level dodging.
Zhongli god of shields.
zhongli buff make him just barely ok, not that broken. His E only does around 3-5k dmg/second with high amount resources. Zhongli (c1) E dmg with 3 geo contruct on field just slightly above 2 times keqing E dmg. If you build Zhongli dps then you have to pair with another geo character because his E low dmg and randomly charge. If you build Zhongli support dps then consider that albedo outcome dmg is much higher than him.

He still needs two pillars by default and petrify also making people act as resonance structures, but he's way better off
Meteor should atleast proc shatter since it's geo dmg....

The Geo Archon just kills stuff while standing. His pillars and Enduring Rock make him feel absolutely busted. The ultimate way to feel like a boss battle

He's always been the ultimate shield tank support. Now he can be tank main dps too
Finally! The well rounded he was always ment to be. I don't minde if he's not a geo-Diluc, I'more than happy if he's a geo-Jean (with shield instead of healing). Being able to fitt multiple roles WELL it's always a solid win in my book.
Will you guys use HP built or ATT Built?
@@husky2961 all of his attacks now scale with hp, including his shield, pillar, autos and burst, so there's not much point in a more attack focused build

So that's why my ningguang came from doing 15k dmg per jade screen crit to 40-45k dmg per jade screen crit and went from doing 12k dmg per ult tick crit to 20-25k per ult tick crit
There's many polearm User's now. Like cyno (Sumeru's Archon) also uses polearm.
