She was laying on the mattress, but the only current was going through the pad. You can use both the bed and the pad, but in this case it was just the square pad. It just concentrates the pulse to that area.
Can this help regenerate knee cartilage please? My local doctor suggested this as an option,however this seems to be the most expensive option..so wanted to check its results please
I don't think it can regenerate knee cartilage. I have not seen anything that would tell me it would do that. I know some work is being done with PRP and stem cell injections in an attempt to do that.

Ultrasound works best to decrease swelling and speed up healing. PEMF works on a cellular level - can help more things. I have never liked using ultrasound because you can't feel it. You can feel PEMF.
