Very close, but I’d give the edge to the GFore. I’d say slightly softer underfoot and has a more breathable upper. The Footjoy is more stable, so if you wanted to use them for golf as well as caddying, the Footjoy would probably serve you better.
Had the Nike Jordan Low Gs and now the Quantum’s. There’s no contest if you want a pair of trainers that are going to be comfortable and supportive enough for a full round of golf. FJs win easily. The Jordan’s are for looks alone.
Thanks Jonathon. It's a close call, and I'll try them on side by side when I next get a change to check, but I would guess the Footjoy is more comfortable overall, mainly due to having more width.... I prefer the looks of the UA Phantom, but if I remember correctly, it's a narrower shoe with similar levels of softness underfoot.
I just tried both on side by side - they feel very similar, I don't think there's much in it in terms of comfort. Codechaos has more aggressive traction, and a bolder style. I should be posting my full review this afternoon.
Love them, nearly always buy Footjoy and never let me down.
They look fun and I like how you rocked them with joggers. May get myself a pair for Christmas when the price reductions are on.
Fj Quantum or GFore MG4x2? Which is more comfortable for walking 18 while carrying a full bag? Asking as a caddie.

Is their SofFoam expanded TPU, EVA, or PEBA?
I don’t know I’m afraid
Good review as always!
Thanks Drew 🙏
Nice looking shoe … would look better with BOA instead of laces. Do they squeak ? Last two pairs of FJ (Pro SLs) were really noisy!
Haven’t noticed any squeaking 👍
As always, great review. Which are more comfortable - Quantum or UA Phantom?

@@GolfGuyReviews Thanks for the info. One more question please - how do these both compare from a comfort perspective to the latest Adidas Code Chaos?

Looks like shoes for driving range mats and not on course shoes.
In which case I’d rather go for a classic trainer style shoe which will be more versatile 👍
FJ stratos, renamed
Stratos has a more casual design, and are heavier too
