      The battle of Uhud was about the right of being buried in the same land/mahal, it was not a physical fight and no one died. The graves were the proof for descendants of the dead to remain and live on that land. Remembering the Quran (hafezah) was to remember the owners of the grave to prevent future disputes since the graves were dug by their owners in advance and nobody except a few knew how to read and write Farsi / Arabic.
      THE ACTUAL FIGHT WAS OVER THE RIGHT TO REMOVE THE OLD GRAVES FROM A LAND AFTER PURCHASING IT.
      Uhud was an argument amongst the local Arabs to accept the Christianity custom of burying their dead in their own property protected by a Cross on the grave.

    Where was Khalid ibn Walid where sunnah brothers claim the greatest Muslim warrior.

      Khalid, till that time, was a pagan. It was he who attacked the Muslim army in Uhud. But for Imam Ali, it is enough for him that the Prophet used to pray for him whenever he used to go to the battlefield :)

      This is the most pathetic comment I've seen in a long time. You think that we, the lovers of Ahlul-Bayt (as), who everyone mentions in their prayer, don't know how many Rak'at the daily prayers have?

    I mean absolutely no disrespect but didn't the Qur'an also use women (hoors and captives of war) to encourage men to fight in the battlefield? I mean those men werent interested in braiding their hair or anyhing, they wanted them for sexual satisfaction.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rewards in the hereafter cannot be compared to the sexually intriguing poetry of Hind. Also, the Quran has never presented hoor for sexual satisfaction neither are the captives of war presented in this way.

    • @aromaaijaz788
      @aromaaijaz788 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Thaqlain hmm so what exactly is the purpose of hoors? I remember sayed mention this in the slavery episode that allowing men to take female captives of war was an incentive to encourage men to fight for islam. So if the muslim dies fighting he goes straight to the 70 virgins waiting for him, and if they win then he may take the women as captives of war and sleep with them.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Sayed has at no point mentioned this thing that hoors are waiting as soon as he dies or that slaves were an encouragement to fight. In fact, if you listen to the episode related to the tactics used by pagans to encourage Meccans to fight, it was Ka'b ibn Ashraf who used this method to instigate Battle of Uhud(see episode 152).
      What Sayed mentioned in Slavery episode that the privilege to sleep with a slave girl allowed those ladies to have a secure home and being associated with a single man instead of being banished and forced into prostitution
