as an american, i'm unlikely to go to the london pen show anytime soon, so i appreciate all the long lingering shots of the beautiful pens available there!
Thank you!
Where is the crankin' Rush soundtrack??? We were promised the crankin' Rush soundtrack...... :) That is palatial compared to how crowded US pen shows are with vendors stacked on top of themselves and narrow isles. Well done, England! :)
Didn't you hear it in the background? You need to turn up the volume 😆. It's in the Rush-Can.
That Vuitton pen case 🙀
Hi Dave. Love the pen show videos. I saw the huge range of beautiful pens at the St John’s stand. There seems to be lot more than on his website.
Yes you are correct, I don't think he's listing them all on his website as he has too many pens to list, which is a shame as he'd attract more buyers outside of the pen shows.
@@PenultimateDavegood incentive to go to the pen show though, if you know you can see pens that aren't available on the website!
It would be great to attend the show, but it's a so far for some of us to travel. One day.
I'd have liked a close up of the Pelikan Cambon.
Sometimes it's difficult even for me when videoing to see the wood from the trees or to see other pens that are on the table. Perhaps next time!
@@PenultimateDave oh, I wasn't being critical! I've been to pen shows. There's so much to look at that it can all blur together. The Cambon is just a pen that intrigued me, and publicity photos don't do it justice.
Oh I know you weren't being critical Teresa, I'd just love to be able to record everything on the table but many times I come back from the shows and see pens that stood out right there on video but I just completely missed it because I'm looking through the camera and not at the wider table.
I wish more of the vendors would setup a couple of hours before the show as it would give me the opportunity to video their tables without having to contend with all the visitors at the table trying to squeeze into a space and being limited on time.
Most of the vendors for the 1 day shows typically travel on the day of the show and travel back, so most will get to the show about 30-60 mins before and really only have their tables setup about 20 mins before the doors open.
