Being in constant interaction with many candidates from all over the world, I came across a common problem that they share. It's related to not being able to reach the final interview during the Assessment Day/Open Day for the job position of Cabin Crew/Flight Attendant and it's all about presenting an excessive amount of nervousness or attitude that has high dosage of nervousness.
We all know what it’s like to be nervous when we have an important meeting, presentation, job interview ect. But how can we successfully overcome/manage our nerves to put our best foot forward?

I went for assessment day last month and I was shaking! I don't know why!? Hi Julia! Thanks for keep posting awesome contents. A few months ago I went to Qatar Airways Open Day in Indonesia. It was so disorganized. I was there at 7 am. At 9 am, no introduction video and the ladies from Qatar Airways told us “to sit in one room and starting from the front row, each candidates can go to other room for an interview. No follow up call or email. If we like you, then you’ll get an invitation the next day, seems fair yes?”.
The problem is, those candidates who came later, they directly line up to interviewer’s room while me & other candidates who’re waiting in the room earlier keep waiting and wondering why it’s so long that I ended up got interviewed at 3 pm (most candidates ordered food from Grab and ate them in the room😅) Until 5 pm, there are still around 300+ people lining up.
I thought it was a test to test our patience😅 but apparently it was such a disorganized open day. The hotel staff said he’s confused with thousands of candidates at the lobby and he said that the team from Qatar also informed them nothing. One candidate from S. Korea was so angry and she took the microphone and said “This is not fair! We came so early but we’ve been waiting in the room for 4 hours while those who just arrived simply waiting in the front door and lining up!”
I don’t think the team from Qatar aware of this because they were in the room and never left, so I guess they considered me as a candidate who’s late😕
Is it the same like open day in any other countries? As it was my first time going to open day in Qatar. Cheers!

It's very informative and hopefully I would try them without fail...have interview on 4th Feb . Only pblm is I don't actually feel nervous but it just happens...like my voice get so shaky uncontrollably...and I am not even unsure about my answer!! It kills me...😟😑

@@richasharma5292 it's not for Qatar...it's just domestic airline and location is Hyderabad.. if ur application is under review for domestic airline...you just have to go for walkin

That's because ur brain is sending signals to ur body that nervousness (although u don't feel it) is there but u r managing to control it so well until certain point. Yet , you r doing super AMAZING and almost there to kill it. Since u know when is coming, be prepared to push it away before time. By breathing, sending signals to ur brain, by strongly focusing and thinking of YOURSELF only and hopefully ur nervousness will keep sleeping ♥️

I am going to be 21 years old 18th of February and I have open day in my city 15th of February. If I will register online in order to get invitation for open day will they reject/ deny me ? Because 15th of February I will be still 20. But 18th of February I am turning into 21.

Hi Ma'am, i have applied for one invited only interview event here in india. It's been almost 21 days and my application is under review. But they have now posted interviews in other locations as well. Should I wait or apply for the other locations. Is been under review a good enough sign? Or is it bad?
Under review means u still can be invited. Now I do not know how much quality is in ur CV, how well u have filled the online application. This aspects should make you more worried. Regarding applying to more places, well I really don't know as this is still under review

Yes you can. Only if selected you will be asked to remove. So do not worry.
