Guys i m' from jodhpur.....and if you really went to taste the jodhpuri food .....you can go to SHANDAAR RESTAURANT at jalori gate ......and try LACHHA PARATHA......LASSI ...this restaurant not only serve the food they serve the tradition of jodhpur as well .....

Actually I hate to eat all receipe at once and paying for all of them.. they knew that we can't eat too much so they serve very little and later we pay them big amount for just tasting the food.
I love eating thalis :) So much to try and eat.

I had been to jodhpur ... On the rock is good for ambience but if you love the food as well as ambience and you must visit the new restaurant called THE ROCKYARD .. Which is near taj Hari mahal palace hotel , Residency Road... Awesome taste buddy ...

ok. On the Rocks is not a restaurant you wanna go if you visit Jodhpur as a tourist. I would recommend you to go to Shaandar to dine.. Then we have Bhati daal Bati, Pokar etc.

+GottaDoIndia That's not rajasthani thali dear... You gotta know difference between Rajasthan and Marwar. Jodhpur comes under marwar and the food which is consumed here is totally different from rest of the Rajasthan. Actual marwadi thali includes- Mirchibada, Daal-Bati, Churma, Lahsun ki chatni, Ker-daakh ki sabji, Sangri ki sabji, Bajre ki roti, and of course lots of ghee on that :P And gulabjamun, Ghewar and many more.. And best restaurants in jodhpur- Shandaar, Shri ram Excellency, Tadka, Indana, Vedas and Rockyard.
