You should check out batman the last knight on earth if you haven't read it yet. It's 3 books total. Bruce is mentally crazy and a patient in arkham asylum. The story is about how he made up Batman in his head after witnessing his parents deat h. His doctor is the joker, and Bane works in the hospital as well.. it kinda reminds me of Moon Knight mixed with Batman. It's pretty cool. Scott Snyder one also
Keeping it about the Comics is something we can get behind 🙏

Maybe im in the minority, but i love this content. It's like comic breakdown but with the SG spin.
Wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this book. Turns out it’s one of if not the best read of the year. Was practically jumping in my chair in excitement going through this, Capullo’s art pops out of the page and Snyder weaves a compelling alternate Batverse. After reading this first issue I am very hyped for this series.
Strictly Marvel people should give this one a shot.
I have been hearing great things about this issue. I hope the series stays this good so they make a deluxe. Did they say how many issues it is supposed to go on for?

I really enjoyed this video because I don’t read modern comics much so it was cool to get an overview of this first issue. If I hear enough good things consistently I’ll probably pick it up in trade to try it out. Enjoyable video!

I have been a Marvel only reader for a while. Due to a limited number of marvel titles that I find to be worth reading, I decided to give DCs All-in and Absolute jump-on a try. I thoroughly enjoyed this first issue and will give it a go for a little bit. I’m also considering giving Absolute Wonder Woman and Superman a read.
This was a great read and haven’t been this excited for a Batman comic series in awhile

When Absolute Wonder Woman and Superman drop you should do another review of those books, I love watching review videos especially from actual comic book collectors and sellers. I pretty much zone in on comic books that get decent reviews from other collectors or comic dealers, helps me gauge whats out there since I don't pay to much attention to everything going on in the comic book world.
Batman has the best stories (and the best villains) in all of comics. IMO

I picked up the first issue last week. Scott Snyder was the draw for me, otherwise it would've been a pass as "just another batman title to make some quick cash". It might still be that, but I thought the first issue was good enough to warrant at least reading the first full storyline. Thanks for the vid.
This was a fantastic issue, I love a Batman that will not kill but he will seriously F you up. This is the way you handle crime

Yes, nicely reviewed, why you want to wait when a book is this good I don't understand? Especially when the hype is so high and deserved, there are definitely going to be spoilers as each issue comes out and unless you are laying under your nest, you wont miss them! The new Absolute Superman and Wonder Woman, need a review plus the Ghost Machine Universe, like to hear your take on those!
These are the kinda videos I like to see.
I liked Dragotta's art on East of West better and I mostly bought this for his art. I did enjoy Snyder's writing more than I usually do. I started buying his Batman run when he started on it and I gave up a few issues in. I did enjoy The Wake quite a bit by him and American Vampire, but I think he's super overrated usually. Of the more modern popular Batman writers I think James Tynion is the best. Not on Batman though but on all his other comics. Department of Truth is brilliant and I haven't read much by him I didn't like. The last great writer on Batman IMO was Grant Morrison though I did enjoy parts of Tom King's run. Tom King is very hit or miss with me. I loved Mister Miracle but haven't enjoyed anything else he's written as much as that.
I honestly didn't expect to like this, because I literally judged the book by its cover. But after actually reading it...yeah, I really liked it.

I'm not typically a batman guy but picked up absolute batman and really enjoyed it.
Question what is brutal in you're definition? because this batman only chop a hand at best that is nothing to compare to the figth in batman/joker in batman. endgame.

Weird font in that book
Batman is basically a super rich guy who goes round beating up poor guys, which is why I don't like it. So maybe I'll prefer this version.
