I always say - aim for 100%ile only then you will give your best! Especially given your previous profile, you should try to maximum your CAT scores.

Heyy, you will have to score well in CAT to balance out your previous academic grades. And you do have 4 months to prepare, so make the most out of it. You can check my latest videos on 4-month strategy and timetable you should follow to prepare for CAT. :))

Are you allowed to go outside campus and explore other places ? Also you have holidays on festivals or weekends ?
Of course. There are no restrictions on going out, but holidays vary. We had a few days off during Durga Pooja since it's the prominent festival in WB, but we had a quiz on Diwali :P
Hi am tanay now pursue bcom(h) and company secretary because mera 10/12 boards marks 82% and 85℅ hai...after complete company secretary course I thought started CAT preparation.. So can I get chance in IIM A/B/C ?
Hi Tanay, your CAT percentile can offset your previous grades. You might not be able to get a call from IIMB depending on your undergrad grades as well but you can receive a call from IIMC as they focus more on your CAT score than anything else. So study hard and try to improve your score as much as you can. Stay tuned and all the very best for your preparation! :)
HI DI,currently i m in second yr of computer science engineering my percentage are 81 from 10th and 66.2 from 12th ... with good scoring in cat will i anle to convert into IIM C ... If yes ... give a detail strategy ,path for cracking cat ...

This will help you get a sense of the rigour of exam. I have added VARC and DILR specific preparation strategies as well. Stay tuned for more in-depth videos which will help you achieve your goal!
As for internships, they don't exactly help you in getting into an MBA college - but they have a lot of impact during your placements. So, if you have an opportunity, I would highly recommend that you go ahead and do that internship.
Hello mam my academic marks is very poor in 10th 59.6 and in 12th 65.6 but i have skils like excel powerbi sql PowerPoint but fresher non engineer so is there any chance to go in top iim or non iim
Hi, to be honest these skills come into play once you enter an MBA college or the corporate world. During entrance exams, all that matters is your score, and previous grades. And while you might not be eligible for a few colleges - if you have decent UG grades and can ace your CAT exam - you will be able to convert a good college :) Don't lose hope!

Hi Prachi , How many hours should i dedicate for cat preparation, and i am confused if i should go for internship in summer break for 2 months starting from june (given that i completed my arithmetic and barely started other sections) or should just simply study for cat
Hi, you can prepare for CAT along with your internship as well. Just make sure that you are consistent and taking out 3-4 hours in a day to study depending on your work hours. It will help your CV later on, but if the internship is going to be very hectic - then you can take a call accordingly.

Hi, different colleges have different cut-offs so you might not receive calls from a few of them because of your profile but you can try to cover up for your grades by maximizing your CAT score. Specially for IIM Calcutta, grades are not that important so you have a good shot. Be consistent and keep practicing for the exam! :)

How did you manage the hostel life?
Hey, had lived in a hostel during my undergrad as well, so was used to it. But, hostel life has its own perk! You shouldn't worry about being in a hostel because it becomes a home away from home and you start enjoying every bit of it! :))
IIM CALCUTTA KI fees 31 lakhs ho gayi hai....This is too much ...🥲🥲
Haha, with inflation the fees is also increasing. But it will still be worth it for your future. You can easily take a student loan like me. And believe me, paying off the loan is not difficult. Stay motivated!

It's 27.2 lacs in which 20k is refundable
Maybe they planning to increase it to 31L next year. Came across a few articles where it was mentioned that the fees is 31L now!
