Thanks so much for sharing how you did it!! Loved the video! I have wondered what gen it was since seeing the wires coming out of the body in one of your older videos. I recently had a go at putting the 2+ torso in Joseph 3 months awake. It works pretty well, the only downside is the feed sensor wire is really short so I used a magnet to position it to the mouth area, so the magnet activates the feed sensor before you put anything to the mouth lol
@@ShellBellsChannel thanks for the suggestion. I’m scared of ruining it if I touch the wire, but your suggestion did make me look at something else. There’s excess wire in the steel casing so if I can unglue the wire from the plastic stopper I should be able to pull more through. I was just happy to cut it out of the head & have it still be working 😄
I have just aquired 2 more gen 6 so I’m just going to work out what I’ll be doing with these babies but I did get them to pull apart eventually, I’ll let you know how I go! :)
The company only sells them stateside at least to schools or on rare occasion homeschooling groups. This rebuild though super cute wouldn't work in a classroom where multiple hs kids have to take them home. They are super expensive for districts to purchase and maintain. I rescued five from a district closing out their program and they took alot to service and only 3 ended up working again.
I’m thinking she means that it would be cool if the mechanism could be made smaller so it can be put into Reborn babies like I have done here :) But yes you’re totally right about them being decently hard to get!

Have you ever tried to build a G2, 2 Plus or 3 into a reborn? Or is it not possible due to the sensors? Just wondering...🙂 I really plan to try this, too.
I haven’t tried but I have pulled one apart before and didn’t really see that it was possible for it to be done satisfactory enough for me. I plan to have a look again in the future :)
It’s a Realcare doll, you have to pull one apart and have all the parts to use the doll. Realcare Babies are about $500 and controllers are about $500 also unless you purchase a baby that is already programmed, There is more information about Realcare babies on my channel :)

No it was taken apart years ago but it’s pretty easy just cut the back out and the feeding sensor
I might possibly get some more in the future and be able to tamale a video of the boxes but I’ll see how I go!
