Sir i can assure you skoda nd vw have very bright future in india. Just stick to the basic needs i.e 1st safety 2nd mileage with option to switch in performance and last price it must be competitive.. rest we can manage features
Bring NA engine as well, 1L TSI is gem for open road but we mostly drive in bumper to bumper traffic, local communitor will love 1.2L NA engine, or just procure 1.2L engine from Citroen.
Please ensure sufficient comfort and under-thigh support in the rear seat. Most Indian buyers are family oriented. Hence, this aspect is important. I didn't go for the polo only for this reason.

Because, a 3 cylinder engine inherently jerks at idle or when slowed down at speed breakers to 1st Or 2nd gear and gradually pick up speed you get a jerk and with ac on the jerk will be more pronounced. At idle you will hear the engine sound more than a 4 cylinder engine which will sound smooth and refined. WTF
The reality is skoda has missed the bus. They just have 2 models currently. Earlier there were rapid. Yeti. Fabia. Superb. So growth is when sales increase. Product portfolio increase. The target segment for which they are launching the car will not shift from venue. Nexon sonet etc

It's a make it or break it Model for Skoda India. If they pass the tax benefits to customers & price KYLAQ Base variant under ₹10 lacs on Road with the same feature list as Kushaq. They will improve their portfolio & Sales nos, for sure. Also brands road presence people's trust & confidence among Indian buyers. It was Kushaq suicidal launch attempt with smaller size & high pricing against established king Creata. Hope they do not repeat their mistake & offer better After-Sales Service Stn network to smaller towns. Owners would not buy their Cars unless After-Sales Service is within 30 kms maximum. They know they will laugh their base model with 7.99lac ex showroom and 9.80lac signature model and 11.50 prestige model.. although they Kaylaq kill kushaq space but they know they can sell Kushaq outside India. This car give road presence to Skoda and new trust among the customer… although they will not earn big money with this kaylaq (just like polo) but through volume they will generate extra money (as Peter said 1Lac in one year it means 8k per car in month ) which double the volume of TAIGUIN +kushaq… combine they sold 3-5k per month
If they have diesel engines as well, it would be great as it will add the efficiency factor as well, which is one of the reason Indians stay away from European cars.... This will add, ride, handling and fuel economy as well.... Resulting in good sales figures

I would like to ask what is Skoda's take on the recent EPC error issues which even 2023 and 2024 mfg cars have started facing. Facebook Skoda forums are full of those and I am sure you can also check your ASC records in past 3 months. It was well known that only 2021 models had this problem and the root cause was sorted out.. Why do customers have to deal with this afyer paying 20+ lacs on their top end models. What is stopping Skoda to have a factory recall and get all cars fixed in advance.
As it EVs are expensive at the same time Charging infrastructure is presently poor or developing. Until than plug-in Hybrid is the best option. Which offers best of both worlds Petrol for easy availability & mild or strong Hybrid for better efficency.

Service quality is paramount rather than the sheer number. Hyundai and Toyota service quality is miles ahead of Skoda.
No issue in Skoda service now. They have improved a lot.
