First, u have to qualify NEET UG exam then u will be alloted government medical college on the basis of ur marks and rank ,in case ,u r able to crack it ..

Bro SGPGI Lucknow and PGI Chandigarh are top notch institutes in India,, but for now they only teach Postgraduate courses like MD,MS,DNB. And this ranking is basically for mbbs colleges
It's a premier medical college, a fine place to study MBBS. It doesn't have departments, it has INSTITUTES (Like Institute of Physiology and experimental medicine, Institute of Internal medicine.. and so on..) It means this college has ALL departments which are capable of autonomous functioning without being under the umbrella of Medical College. How cool is that? #onlyinmmc. It's a matter of pride to be associated with such a legendary institution. You will find mmcians everywhere in the world. I studied mbbs from this college (2k13 batch). I think 85 percent state quota should be reduced to 50 percent because it make hard for other state students to get admission in their dream collage
