There is a huge difference between the NCAA division I and this match. With that said, it is impressive how Mason kept coming forward. He gave the ref no reason to call a stall warning.
Yeah the guy he beat was a D1 National qualifier at Perdue. DeBo is also a Greco champion. Insult him with that D2 vs D1 BS if it makes you happy, but if you ever see him you call him Champ. He’s earned that title.

This year may have been the highest quality of heavyweights in collegiate history. If I met Mason I would call him champ. He is a champion. He deserves it. He is a great wrestler.
