Greek anti-communist song - Damaged by insurgents [English subs] Ανταρτόπληκτος

Because of the many catastrophes, killing, torturing, looting and abducting the communists did during the Greek civil war the Greek state decided to evacuate many mountainous villages and host them in urban areas where they wouldn't be endangered. These people remained refugees until the end of August 1949 when the communist insurgents got defeated and fled the country.
In memory of my village and its villagers that lived away from their houses in refugee camps for 18 months waiting for the communists to get defeated.

γιατί μια μέρα μου γκρεμίσαν τη φωλιά,
