They perfectly managed to capture the key essence of Bollywood music. Perhaps to people not familiar with Bollywood or Indian music in general, this music might sound something completely new and different (and it is in K-pop). But these instruments and sounds are quite common in Indian music and the first time I heard this my brain was spiralling in confusion. It was only after I read the description I realised it's supposed to sound Bollywood. I like how they properly represented it and the MV or lyrics don't have and stereotypes like most other K-pop songs portraying Indian culture. I can't even express the admiration and respect I for LOONA.

You’re really missing out on one of the greatest discographies in kpop. The videos you watched are not indicative of Loona’s sound. In fact, the last few title tracks sound NOTHING like the rest of their music. They usually bring a new sound every comeback. Each member has a solo song, and they’re all a different genre. They had 3 subunits predebut with 3 different styles and sounds. They have some of the best production you can find in kpop. I think you should give them a fair shake. Then the songs you’ve heard that you didn’t really like will make more sense because it was simply them adding another sound to their universe.
They are also a VERY strong vocal group as well that hasn’t been represented in their recent girl crush concepts. You’ll see more in their earlier solo work and b-sides. Each one was groomed to stand on their own as potential solo artists away from the group. Also, one of the best dancing groups around right now. And their MVs are really beautiful and big budget
I might be wrong but I think the fact that they introduced this new sound is the reason why I started enjoying their songs. Because I remember reacting to their older mvs and those tracks sounded way too light and cute for my liking so they weren't my cup of tea. But yeah I'll check out more of their music in the future 100%

I think you may have a misconception that their earlier music including their predebut projects are light and cute, when they in fact are not. That is not to say that they don't have any other songs with cute concepts of course because they do have a few like any other group, but they have so many genres and concepts in their discography so they have much more to offer as well. At the end of the day it's up to you whether you decide to dive deeper into them and their music and we'll respect your decision. But I think there are some songs you would really enjoy and without exaggeration, I've never seen another gg pull off so many diverse sounds and concepts and excel at all of them. I think it would be really worth your time and you could really come to love Loona! Anyway that's all, sorry for the long comment lol

You’re really missing out on one of the greatest discographies in kpop. The videos you watched are not indicative of Loona’s sound. In fact, the last few title tracks sound NOTHING like the rest of their music. They usually bring a new sound every comeback. Each member has a solo song, and they’re all a different genre. They had 3 subunits predebut with 3 different styles and sounds. They have some of the best production you can find in kpop. I think you should give them a fair shake. Then the songs you’ve heard that you didn’t really like will make more sense because it was simply them adding another sound to their universe.
They are also a VERY strong vocal group as well that hasn’t been represented in their recent girl crush concepts. You’ll see more in their earlier solo work and b-sides. Each one was groomed to stand on their own as potential solo artists away from the group.
Also, one of the best dancing groups around right now.
And their MVs are really beautiful and big budget
I might be wrong but I think the fact that they introduced this new sound is the reason why I started enjoying their songs. Because I remember reacting to their older mvs and those tracks sounded way too light and cute for my liking so they weren't my cup of tea. But yeah I'll check out more of their music in the future 100%
@@aaron.freeman Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Hi High is the only song from Loona you've reacted to that was light and cute. The others just weren't your preference, like Butterfly and So What. I think you may have a misconception that their earlier music including their predebut projects are light and cute, when they in fact are not. That is not to say that they don't have any other songs with cute concepts of course because they do have a few like any other group, but they have so many genres and concepts in their discography so they have much more to offer as well. At the end of the day it's up to you whether you decide to dive deeper into them and their music and we'll respect your decision. But I think there are some songs you would really enjoy and without exaggeration, I've never seen another gg pull off so many diverse sounds and concepts and excel at all of them. I think it would be really worth your time and you could really come to love Loona! Anyway that's all, sorry for the long comment lol

The 3 members with neon backgrounds are part of the subunit Odd Eye Circle. in the Loonaverse, loonas fictional storyline/lore, they had special "powers".
