We talk to our boys like they are "real" little humans not all of that gaga goo goo fake chat that stumps them (my 3yo articulates better than most adults!). The only thing I HAVE to get better w/them is getting them to cleanup w/o being prompted (I'm so used to doing it) my boys are 3 & 11 and they BOTH love to help cook, 3yo likes to help clean, they are respectful & loving....
