We would recommend everyone try and play it, yeah not the best RE there is, but certainly not as bad as folks think. Solid.

The entire reason I bought a PS2 was to play Dead Aim and both Outbreak games after I had exhausted the Game cube's library of RE titles before RE4 had been released, I was shocked how much more I enjoyed playing Dead Aim but the loading times for Outbreak was brutal. I kinda wish I had kept it. Lovely game
Offline PAL Outbreak was borderline unplayable at times , as you say load times were awful and the longer levels really screwed you over if the AI messed up.
Dead Aim was a fun little James Bond esq romp that didn't take itself too seriously and was pretty fun.
Snakes revenge and the original metal gears are on MGS3 HD version that's why they are included in Vol. 1.
