I worked for a company in Harlingen Tx. for about 10 yrs. and i was in charge of the wing department from fabricating, assembly and dope and fabric department. The aircraft we were building was a huge crop duster based on the old Stearman aircraft. Loved that work. stayed there till they stopped making the aircraft. Very interesting work. Watching you working on these wings brought back a lot of great memories. Emair was a great company to work for. Thanks for sharing.

Great information nice work I’m curious why the scarf joint was made that way with the rear overlapping the front

Doesn't matter which way. More convenient for lining up at the leading edge. Scarf disappears with sanding and is covered in fabric and paint.

Great video. I teach aviation maintenance at PCC. We don't teach enough wood projects. Would love to see your operation in person. I live in Sandy, OR.

I have a question about "sanding the nail heads". You actually sand the top of the nails off, rather than tapping them down flush with the surface? Do you have trouble with the sander grabbing the nails? Great How To!

Good Work. What glue do you use for the wing walk and wing rib gussets?

Great video! I’m researching to do a repair on the trailing edge of the wing walk on our family stearman. Any tips for that process?
