The tagelharpa consists of a wooden instrument with horsetail strings, which gives it such a rustic sound. Most often than not you use one string as the melody string and the other two are tuned in 5ths to create a drone sound. Such a beautiful and ancient sound in my opinion. :)

Unfortunately, much of what we know today was written by a Christian. Not to mention in those ancient times, there are many tribes of Norse folk who differed on their activities while honoring the gods. I appreciate your input.
