I love that Isiah always try to bring the conversation into the journey, the work and the grind they have put through to get to where they are, for all the people to stay motivated. He must has missed those journey a lot.
He knows that as an athlete this sport is our life we spend all day living and breathing the game

@@fatwax3128 that's why he got better when he got in Denver. He was all offense in Orlando, barely can't shoot. His upgrade in skills & mindset are phenomenal. So he's not "always good enough" he became better

I'm genuinely happy for Gordon, to play on a garbage team, then accepting a smaller role in a contender, being the stopper, playing in the post, etc.. just love the dude, he reminds me of the good days when the NBA featured real basketball. And even so, he plays physical and never fouls out in the no touch era, that's impressive by itself. Reads the offense like a point forward, but bumps and play bully ball like a power forward, I really like Gordon, one of my favorite players in the NBA today

Bruce Brown was sooooo good. That offensive rebound basket for the 90th point with like a minute and 30 left was insane. Gordon had 2 guys all over him and he comes out of no where and it was so clutch.
Really hope they manage to resign him,. It sounds like he wants to stay there but don't think they can offer him as much money as other teams will...
Bruce should have been 6th man of the year. This dude came off the bench and played like a starter all season long

Isiah really preaching the journey and rightfully so to all the young kids out there that it takes time and takes sacrifice to get where all these NBA Champs are at. Takes years of dedication to get the chip. From a young age to high school to college/overseas to the NBA. Good job Isiah getting the guys to elaborate on the past struggles and success to become who they are today.

Their starting 5 is really really good. Jokic and Murray with the two-man game, AG with the defense and hustle plays, MPJ with the 3s and slams, and KCP with the 3 and D. Really well-constructed. I don't think we'll see Bruce Brown return, but they'll be keeping Braun, and I think Jeff Green will want to run it back.
Gordon is a unicorn 🦄 his skill set and size makes him such a valuable asset!

KCP, Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray and Jokic are all seasoned players who were going to win a championship at some point. I'm glad they won tonight. Congrats on your NBA Championship and your title. Selflessness and willingness to work together to win is important. Team chemistry is important for winning games like these. Nuggets are also a different team from the past. NBA players have a journey by which they all have to go through and get to this point of maturity, confidence, and understanding what real work means to develop your game and shooting better. @@adrijiyuda yes this is his second for KCP. He was extremely excited about the win last night. His body language was different from the previous win. As it relates to it being a real win or not. That's debatable.
The Lakers sure wished they would have kept KCP! He also proved that he was more than just a spot up 3-point shooter.
Kcp was a huge piece towards the Lakers win and he contributed a great role with the nuggets definitely well-deserved for that second championship
There is something about this team; something special, chemistry, a good vibe, whatever makes this team incredibly well balanced, a good aura makes this team where all players enjoy being part of this franchise.
Fr man all these dudes really fuck with each other.. every time I see them out and about every week, they act like brothers fr.. I just wish Monte Morris could’ve been a part of this. He held us down for a minute when Murray got injured. He’s a champ in our hearts.

Caldwell Pope was a great role player in the 2020 Finals. Even though this wasn't his best series, he showed up on the defensive end and wasn't down on himself.

I really like the Walton Blazers comparisons, that team thrives off cutting and running around a point center in Walton just as the Nuggets were with Jokic.

I like this guy, Aaron Gordan. This big win enables them to get exposure and for people to find out more of what the Nuggets are like. Anyway, I hope my Mavs can get to this level, I had thought they were getting there.
these guys were the difference. jokic and murray get their flowers, rightfully so. they can give you a lot of wins just the two of them - nuggets wouldn't even be a playoff team without jok, and jok wouldn't have gotten back to conference finals without a healthy jamal.
but gordon, kcp, brown and braun put them over the top, not just with consistent buckets but with their defense and hustle. great players, perfect teammates

When i first saw AG he he was about to do the dunk contest with a suit on and im like, "man stop with your gimmicks and just dunk the ball" and then he hid those crazy dunks and i have been rooting for him ever since! Denver is lucky to have him. So happy for this dude!

AG spilled the beans: Jokic is really 7'1 not 6'11. Google pictures of him next to Gobert and Embiid. It's only Embiid's hair that makes him look taller. Gobert can be seen to be exactly the same height. It doesn't detract from his greatness, but adds to the fact that the last 7'1 person throwing around assists like this was Wilt Chamberlain.

Given jokic and especially murray post injury treatment the owner, front office and the coaches treat their players the right way like the players do on the court, but gotta keep it real getting x3 your yearly salary and perhaps becoming what jokic or murray is for denver with his own squad is incredibly alluring however the grass isnt always greener on the other side
