For PC players. you will be able to skip all cutscenes with a simple button press for each cutscene, by going into the shop in Diagon Alley, where you can enter cheat codes up on the 1 floor, after you've completed the first level, enter Harry's room on Hogwarts, and then quit to Diagon Alley. Here you will have to enter "N 0 (zero) CUT 5", but you'll have to do this for every new game and every time you restart the game. This also works for other similar LEGO games released around the same time as this one.
I remember playing this when I was younger and now I understand what the game is about because I watched all the Harry Potter movies…but I want to play this again 😢

I remember getting 100% completion locked because of an easily doable mistake. In the clock tower room, theres a parceltongue door and something else. My first playthrough, i did the Parceltongue thing before the other thing. Apparently this glitches out the game and prevents you from getting the gold brick in the clock room. That mystery went unsolved for like 8 years before I saw a video that said to do the other thing before the parceltongue door. I started a new playthrough, got every other requirement for 100% completion, and did the clock room puzzle correctly. I was so goddamn happy about it.
Happened to me too, so I just had that save file stuck at 99%, but one day I came back to the save file and the Clock Tower randomly and the gold brick spawned, out of nowhere.
Having never played these, I get the feeling that there is some collection progression that is blocked till you learn the proper spells. That the crests and character unlocks are chapter specific and that there will be a free play cleanup at the end after the story progression part of the game.
I loved Harry Potter books and movies even the video games of Harry Potter. I can't wait till Hogwarts Legacy comes out for Nintendo Switch so I can experience the magic that's before we knew Harry Potter. I love the creatures even the dragons, hippogriffs, and other characters even Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Thank you J. K. Rowling for brining us a magical story that becomes a legacy for a very long time.
Woah. I’ve played this game on the wii since i was 4 and i love it a LOT. The music, the gameplay, the funny gags that are in the cutscenes, EVERYTHING is beautiful. Now i want to play the compilation of both the 1-4 and the 5-7 games in the switch.
At 13:58:46 you go back into hogwarts with 184 of the gold bricks then the next time you pull up the menu is at 14:00:47 in the ravenclaw dorms and you have 186 of the gold bricks. Where were the two you found?

This looks a lot easier than the Harry Potter game that I tried playing on Xbox years ago. That game was very difficult and I quit that game and never picked up another Harry Potter game since . But I seen this one and bought it, I plan on buying a Nintendo Switch lite Monday.
I wonder if the PC version of the remaster fixes the bugs at 6:06:28 and 6:09:54. On PC if those sneezing torches are on screen when they turn and sneeze the game just freezes. You have to make sure they are off camera when casting on them by going into 2 player mode and making Hermione run all the way to the beginning of the level so the camera splits and then quickly cast on them with Harry and jump off the ledge before they sneeze so they melt the ice off camera. If you manage to get past that bug you have to hope and prey the purple bird at 6:09:54 breaks the glass because sometimes it didn't. If the glass doesn't break, you can't progress with the game at all and the only way to fix it is to start a new game from year 1. They are the worst game breaking bugs I've ever encountered.
THANK YOU, I'm curious too. *This* was THE bug that stopped me from finishing it for more than a week. Eventually I resolved by activating the second player and making it go to that point alone while staying behind so that it could cast the spell and immediately drop out, before the ice melting animation could play. But it's weird because *only* the PC seemed to have that problem; a friend of mine had it on the week and that part worked just fine. Years later I even re-played it on a beefier PC and while there WAS still some stuttering and lag in that part, *it worked;* so I assume it depended a lot on the hardware.
I used to play this on my iPod touch and I literally cried when they removed this game from both the Apple Store and my downloads. I recently found there’s a switch version so I may buy a Nintendo twitch just to play it again
Big Potter fan and just started to play this. It seems that I have missed some characters and stars, side quests apparently. Is it possible to do them later?

Am not good in most console games at all when my only previous game experience with something else than Supercell's mobile games (as a Finnish I need to play our popular games e.g. Clash of Clans & Clash Royale 😎) is Skylanders that I used to play a lot ~ 9-10 years and Hogwarts Legacy at which I'm only good at fighting 😂 glad to see you being so good at this game and helping others. 😄
Anybody have a glitch in the lobby where you're supposed to build the tower thing and the yellow brick just... Is not there?? At 31:23. I can't even play the game because I can't get through that gate!

@@cozyandyummy The Switch version has 720p when playing handheld, but in the dock displays at 1080p. Xbox One and PS4 are 1080p, Xbox Series and PS5 are 4K, and Xbox 360 and PS3 are 720p. All consoles I mentioned run the game at 60fps so it's not all bad. If you are playing on an Xbox Series or PS5 and have a 120Hz TV or monitor, you might be able to run the game at 120fps even!
When I was little, this game was fun for me to a certain extent because I just didn’t have the attention span to continue playing all the way to the end. It got kind of boring.

@@LizAndErikSeries In that case, you can skip Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 (as Complete Saga is a combination of those). I hope you can do it for Skywalker Saga, though. No one did a 100% longplay of that game, so far.

You are correct! Some crests & characters you can get in story mode, but others you have to get in free play mode

I'd get Hogwarts Legacy on an older Xbox or PlayStation before getting it on switch. There is no chance it runs good on switch.

I get it in free play later in the video, you cant get everything in story mode. This is 100%.

I played this on Xbox 360 and Years 5-7 on PS3 and I gotta say one thing - Xbox One and Switch versions look VERY different.

@@cozyandyummy The Switch version has 720p when playing handheld, but in the dock displays at 1080p. Xbox One and PS4 are 1080p, Xbox Series and PS5 are 4K, and Xbox 360 and PS3 are 720p. All consoles I mentioned run the game at 60fps so it's not all bad. If you are playing on an Xbox Series or PS5 and have a 120Hz TV or monitor, you might be able to run the game at 120fps even!

When I was little, this game was fun for me to a certain extent because I just didn’t have the attention span to continue playing all the way to the end. It got kind of boring.

@@LizAndErikSeries In that case, you can skip Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 (as Complete Saga is a combination of those). I hope you can do it for Skywalker Saga, though. No one did a 100% longplay of that game, so far.
