Earl that Losi out the box is a keeper, I have a hobby shop 5 min. from my house but like yours he only has one or two cars in stock he wants you to order and pay for the cars first plus the cost is like $50 more than everyone else but i do go and get parts from there he does stock the parts

As always Earl awesome vids and content.
Question about the Mortin brothers wheels, I see on their site they have different center connections for different brands. Are the ones you have for Losi or just the standard hex connection? It seems the Losi center connection is a bit shallower, maybe that would help you if they're interchangeable. Waiting to order a set to see which adapter to get.

Just watched the video collaboration you done bashing. Lol looks like ya had a good time. It's good to see your doing ok after your heart attack. Stay safe in this heat brother most definitely a big fan love the videos and I'm learning alot from you. So thank you for taking the time to make educational style vids of how to fix certain things and tips n tricks and build ideas ect. Then the awesome vids of the speed runs and crazy powerful rc bashers and road cars n trucks. Your a RC legend most definitely iv learned alot from you and because of that iv had pretty good success with my rigs ect. Now I'm getting into trail trucks kinda heavy atm. Reason being is the realistic looks of em with their realistic looking scale axles and pumpkins drive shafts and the flex and scale Interco Super Swamper TSL SXs and bogger tires. It's hella fun and I been wanting to build a sleeper trail truck using one of my Element Enduro Trail walker trucks. It came stock with a very surprising powerful stalky lil brushed system. Which I got into brushless very heavy basically addicted to big brushless motors and ESC's. The big blocks 4276 2200kvs and bigger. Well I pulled my Arrma big rock apart because the system I had in it was legitimately shredding my passenger side rear axle U-Joint apart. It would run fine until I would really get on it n push it a lil. And with that big motor and slightly more powerful 3s 120 amp hobbywing Quicrun esc which isn't a massive upgrade from the stock 100 amp spektrum/blx esc but it did make a massive diff in acceleration and the bigger 4276 size motor made a huge difference in raw power and strength so when I floored it , it would be ok for the first few bunny hops and wheelies ect but after about 5 mins I'd hot rod it basically lol and that U-Joint would let lose and my axle would disconnect from the rear passenger side wheel. It makes a loud grinding noise and lose 90% of it's power even though the motor winds out and it automatically becomes front wheel drive lol. This was the 3rd time it's done it I keep fighting it back in and it keeps popping lose lol. So I ordered some GPM and I believe hot racing makes the other axles for it. But anyway I bought two different sets of axles for the front n rear to test em out. They are metal the GPM is most likely gonna be aluminum which is ok I guess I dunno if they will hold up to that motor though but the others are stainless steel and will hold up to the insane torque these brushless motors dish out. But anyway I put the 4276 2200kv motor into my Element Enduro Trail walker 🤣🤣 and tried out 3 different ESCs I had laying around. First one I tried out was a hobbywing EZRUN max10 60amp ya know the stock one not the SCT version. And it done ok but low speed control sucks. So I pulled that esc put and put it back in it's hobbywing box n put it back up in my parts area. And then tried out my hobbywing max10 SCT on 3s and it done a little better it wasn't a huge improvement over the other version of the max 10. Even after I tweaked it which I programed each one n tested ect. Then tried 4s 🤣 low speed was better wheel speed was better but on low speed and climbing slowly it cogged bad on both max 10 versions. So I was like damn something has to work. So I opened a new spare hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 3s sensored/Sensorless esc tried it and it done hella better then the ez runs did. So I used it for a lil bit but it still had that cogging issue no matter what I done. Only thing I can think of to get that particular motor to do good for a trail truck is gear it to be slower n allow the motor to wind out easier. Basically like a granny gear type of thing. But still allow it to really speed up if need to. So I been playing with the gearing n I don't have the gearing I would need so I pulled it out swapped motors to a 3660 3300kv it done slightly better which is odd it didn't cog as bad but mid throttle n full throttle it was faster but didn't have that grunt n power the bigger motor has. So I just went back to the brushed 16 turn 5 Slot Reedy 540 small block and the stock reedy 400x brushed esc. And it does way better than any of the brushless system combos ect I tried. So I do believe imma have to pick up a sensored brushless motor to try with my Quicrun 120 then it should be a sleeper with that big 4276 2200kv sitting in it lol

Look over the car carefully. 1 of the guys at the track mentioned that the shock was rubbing (forget on what) causing it to pull and be inconsistent out of the box.
I watched 2 different guys run 2.7s around 48 mph last weekend at the track. They're using a actual Port A Tree timing system with next to nothing roll out. The cars launched hard and none mentioned cogging. If you cannot get it figured out, I would #1, try a different battery and 2, call Horizon. Maybe you got a bad one?

Reactions love heat, 175 - 200 grip is unreal then.
Odd, Florida Traxxas rep sang the same song, and was “sick” for a day.
Dealers keep getting hosed by Traxxas.

What gearing would you recommend to order for the Losi and a drag slash? I'd like to order a few different sets for each to play around and see what works best for me. 32 pitch for both? Brand you recommend? Thanks in advance!
