I have this setup in my new house, problem is the guy didn't bother to give us the pass, and is unreachable. The SADP wont do much since hikvision will send the code to his email...Also it seems there is no reset button or pin, how can I deal with this crappy situation? Thanks!
I have DS KD8003 installed as my outdoor unit. Problem is the time doesn’t sync with Indoor unit. Can you tell me how to do that?
have you tried checking the time zone for both units in the settings?>
@@GreyTechLive thanks for the response! I have it connected via CAT6 cables using a POE switch and a connection with my router. Indoor station has a timezone and time set to my choice. There's an option of selecting "sync time to main door station" that is selected as well. No change.
@@OGSuperNaqash thats really odd after each change you should try and reboot the POE switch to see when it comes back if it changes
@@GreyTechLive In the end, I had to bring in the service people. They were able to sync time using a laptop.
Now I have a new query: Photos of visitors don't sync all the time. Shouldn't it? I have been observing for a week and there's no real pattern. It just syncs across devices sometimes. Any solutions?

hi thanks should be pretty straight forward just each station need to be another station number and all pointing to the same IP for door station.

Is it possible to configure it only via mobile device?
Is it possible to open a door with a mobile device even if no one is pressing a ring button on DS KD8003 IME1? It means to use a mobile phone for unlocking a door instead of some RFID chip..
Hi yes they would have to have the app but then they would have access to the device I'm not sure if you can create a user and only give him access to open the door I would have to check on that

How to add to hik connect? i mean which device to add out of 3 screens?
You just did within the settings are you trying to make it so you can connect to the app on your phone?
One thing driving me crazy: it's pronounced HIKvision (/hīk/vision), not Hike-a-vision :)
Hi could I add any poe switch or does it have to be a hikvision poe switch
It can be any POE switch with a minimum of 15.4 watts per port I would at least

Yes it does have that so you can answer it from your mobile device
help! everything works well. I see an image from the video intercom and I can open the door. what I can't do is ring.
