I recently purchased the William Optics 120mm Florostar. I might should have got your scope instead. As for the eyepiece that came with your scope, you can use the bottom cap cover for a 1.25 inch eyepiece and insert it in the rubber eye guard of that 28mm eye piece.
A great scope Wayne, I’m really looking forward to seeing your pictures with this Beast.. I’m sure they will be of a perfect quality given the set up intended.. if you Happen to see any alien life out there (which there are) let me be the first to know ! Your camera needs a cheap old wide angle lens on it, so you get everything in but No worries it’s ok...
Yes it certainly will be great using this rig! I'll let you know as soon as I find something. Apparently one guy on youtube (Bruce sees all) see's live views of strange goings on, on the moon! So I can't wait to scout over the moon with this new scope too! 😃🌚
Oh yeah I know who you mean, he see’s aliens all the time with his scope.. he’ll be seeing Father Christmas on there next ? Never mind, each to their own I suppose.. don’t forget if you see something weird walking across the moon, check your optical lens there mite be an ant walking on it !! Ha ha !!
I think at the time it was about £1800. Not sure what they cost now but I'd recommend the esprit 100 for amazing value and for astrophotography. Thanks for the like and your subscription. Greatly appreciated 👍
@Wayne's Cave Thank you for this. I already have a Lyra 102 f/11 which is amazing on Jupiter. Wished to try a larger aperture ED glass refractor. Would be nice to know how you do on planets with your refractor.
@@TheAstronomer ah I see, yes. I guess yours is a doublet? The triplet Ed glass is great on colour alignment and the esprits especially are lovely star colour etc.. I haven't done planetary yet with mine as I don't have any zoomy eye piece things! I forget their propper name. You drop eye pieces in them,. You probably use them... 👍
It's great you have done this video. I am looking to purchase this scope mid-February as soon as they are available again in the UK. Very interesting to see your video. So the canon t-adapter came with the scope? Cheers and I hope the imaging is going well.
Hello there. Thanks for your comment. Yes it's a good quality package indeed and I'm really enjoying it all so far. No one would regret buying this quality scope and neither will you I'm sure! In answer to your question, yes it came with the t ring adaptor and adaptor tube section to fit straight on to the focuser draw! I'm just currently editing a quick video of some imaging trials with this setup and other equipment I'm using alongside it so watch this space! 👍 Cheers
Hello Rather than do a boring silent movie, I like to inform my subscribers what my experiences may have been up to this point, my expectations and future plans as other people also may be in similar situations, wondering which scope or gear to buy. If you want to just look at shiny new equipment, order rother valley optics catalogue to browse through? Thankyou for your input. Clear skies
Depends where you buy it... But in the U. K. They are around £1900 give or take a bit.. Look out for when there are skywatcher deals being advertised online.
Thanks Wayne. Your dog seems quite inquisitive.

Wayne, Would you mind telling me where you bought the scope? Cheers J.
@@green823jade hi J, I got it from rother valley optics. Try a Google shopping search too, theres a few places worth calling up.
Ah! that was the place recommended to me by my astronomy club. I’ve never bought equipment online before so this is new for me. Cheers J
Are you doing an unboxing video? Why did it take 15 minutes to open the box?
