Knights my main for life. Even if they nerf him to the ground i wont give up on him. Your winstreak was a huge inspiration to make my Knight a champion.
He won’t be nerfed into the ground you’ll just have to be extremely boring and spam Carnifex at pallets and assassins in chases and jailer for time waste. It makes no sense to give jailer a longer hunt time because now there’s never a reason to get Carnifex to start a hunt
@olympiuh9257 I think the idea was to make each unit have a specific use but I'd say this mainly hurts assassin the most in many ways. Longer chase time on Jailer let's him have 24 seconds of chase (8 if you're side by side) which makes him have the ability to still push survivors out of loops. Carnifex will delete pallets instantly and doesn't require the 10m range to break things creating a mindgame on how you're going to go about anti-looping. Assassin seems to be the worst no since his chase time is so short and his speed isn't fast enough to catch most survivors that are good and abuse strong loops against him. Increases to base patrol range will also be Knight. I mainly just want to see how he performs in the PTB before we make assumptions.

Then one of them made an 45 minute video whining, coming up with excuses and trying to act like "they weren't trying". Quietkills made couple videos addressing it since they talked so much crap (while still losing)

Thats how i use him already. I wasnt sure about the new updates, but considering my playstyle i dont think itll affect me that much. I already send guards out to scout gens, and use them less for zoning and pincer moves and more as to reduce the options of where they can run too and try to juke em.
Knight wont be dead from the listed changes. Jailer's 24 second base time will still be 8 even if you hunt right beside him which still allows you to remove survivors from loops. Carnifex can break pallets right in front of you since the 10m range minimum only applies to patrols. Since you can now not run map of the realm knight also has more access to his other addons and being able to swap to whatever guard you want allows for a ton of option select. I'd prefer the 10m minimum patrol range to be lower and match the 8m minimum distance before decay range though. I think he'll certainly play differently, but he should still be able to antiloop well and control the map with the listed PTB changes
Only a few mins in the vid, and I'm assuming he thought the 10m minimum distance included everything. Which fortunately, isn't the case. That +50% hunt time on assassin snipes is pure savagery.
@leifanderson3487 The 10m minimum will still certainly hurt anti-loop on survivors that will run you in circles, but hopefully they reduce it to around 8ish meters so that good positioning can allow you to dunk on survivors that don't know how to outrun/maneuver your guards properly
I think Behaviour heard you lol. They're making it so hooks broken because of a sacrifice will repair after 60 seconds. They mentioned survivors running to corners to avoid hooks being the reason for this.
We are just gonna see how they like when we can force pallet drops and spam Carnifex indefinitely and get a free hit anyways or see how the like dealing with the assassin all the time in chases
Even with the banner being a thing you can prevent the survivor from reaching the banner and letting the assassin get a hit. These changes are so bad it’s insanity

Why can't they just fix bugs on Knight like being stunned on a pallet while placing a guard AI doing stupid things etc, instead of nerfing him he was just fine hahaha
Knight is my most confort killer ever since i know of his anti-loop. I'm sick of it whenever i need to mindgame 24/7 in killer match. And now they gonna nerf his most unique assets. Shambles man Behavior always ruined whenever i chill playing killer.

"they weren't trying", they were playing hardcore. If their character died they couldn't play them anymore, but they "weren't trying"
What is this in reference too? Did Wolfe face the “ultra hardcore” survivor swf team? I couldn’t find that in this video..

im calling it right now, using guards to break dropped pallets mid chase is gonna be the new way to play him
