Most of the time I do leave it on the light mist. The way the ham was situated in the smoker I wasn’t going to be able to reach the back of the meat without some force. Oklahoma Joe’s wouldn’t make a spray bottle with that ability if it was going to ruin your meat. I have seen some of the best barbecuers in the world spray their meat like that and it doesn’t impact the final product.
Usually, I’m not a fan of ham, but this recipe looks like it could convert me! Gonna have to give it a try
I"m not going to downvote your video. But I just need to know why you are power washing the seasoning off of the ham at the 3:30 mark? Why not mist?
