Lived in Cayucos from 1978 to 1981....we go back often. Not much has changed here in those 42 years except they made the beautiful Estero bluffs a state park with lots of hiking trails, beaches, and a shipwreck ❤...hope this always remains the way it was and is 🤗❤️❤️❤️

It seems everyone with large ranches is fleeing California. I believe if the recall in September doesn't happen we will see a lot more videos popping up lol

    Somehow, the ranch seems lonely.

If you live there all by yourself, it will be lonely--even for loners.

This place can be used to built beautiful resorts and villas and many recreational areas which can earn you billions .. think it like this way "if the sandy deserts of Arabia where there is no water availability is used to make big skyscrapers and parks" then why can't u create much better than it all in this beautiful piece of land facing towards the beautiful blue ocean.

      Lots of reasons!
Let’s start with the California Coastal Commission, whose charter reads like a wholly responsible approach to developing in a sensitive ecological area. Among other things, it requires intergovernmental coordination on developments - which just means you’ve a better chance of herding feral cats than lining up all the permits you’ll need.
Strong public participation is another requirement, so the nimbys can have their say.
I suspect the water resources in most of these videos are overstated. Southern California is a desert. Hell, you can’t even build a home in Cambria until they decide to drill more wells, and there are lots available for 20k while the homes are 1m plus.
No one over there wants the development. It’s an area for wealthy retirees who enjoy the pace of life. I was born there and I can’t afford to live there, because it’s a really fucking nice place to live, and everyone wants to keep it that way.

@@mikeyjllewellyn @mikeyjllewellyn well in the nature and government's perspective things matter like the way it needs to be, But However for an investor his dreams can only be made through the changes he wants to make there. it's no wonder why the ranch and places still stay as the same as back in the old days .. so let's love nature more than money coz that's more important than anything else.

Leave this land alone. Sky scrapers are for LA or SF
