Oh this was nothing, in 1999, the first derby after the NATO bombing had ended, a Red Star fan who was a minor at the time (17) was hit by a boat signal rocket launched from Partizan stands and was killed at sight. There were other events in and around the stadium, in surrounding neighborhoods etc. This last derby was quite mild.

No, Tito did not do a "pretty darn good job" with the southern slav nations. This museum is in Serbia and obviously only shows the "good" sides of Tito and jugoslavia. The Serbs do not have anything to do with the museum setting, there is a small minority (usually mixed marriage or ideological) that identify themselves as Yugoslavs would go there, I suppose. Once my foreign friend asked me about the museum recently, I realized I've never heard of it, nor I know any Serb who visited it, even though it is close to the city center. From what I heard, the only people who like Tito and actually come to visit the museum are Međimurci that are Croatians :) and some Slovenes?! (Kingdom of) Yugoslavia existed before Tito; and in Serbia in new history books, some teachers teach pupils (and I don't agree to that extent) that Yugoslavia was our biggest mistake in history i.e. we should have never joined Croats and Slovenes in SHS after the Great War. Živeli! ps. Serbs, in general, have extremely negative stance towards Tito, mostly regarding the unpunished crimes towards Serbs in NDH in WW2, the way Kosovo got autonomy and did territory swap between central Serbia and Kosovo in 68/69 (prequel to the war in 98/99) and because he dissolved many factories in Serbia and transferred it to Croatia and Slovenia (this is the general opinion of an average Serb, I do not say that those are the facts; probably some of them are true, some made up, some exaggerated).
