Good video. I followed it to get to the CMOS. If ASUS V230ic won’t power on, try taking CMOS battery out to reset BIOS. You can’t see it in the video, but will need to slide out the DVD player door (use pry tool to push out just the door) to get to 2 screws under there.
Thanks for the clear video. I was able to save my Asus v230ic - I though it was bricked, but after watching your video, I saw where the CMOS battery was, replaced it / cleared the CMOS, and I'm using the computer now. Crazy that you have to remove the motherboard to get access to the CMOS battery. Thank you !!!!!

Hi could you please show the 3 terminals how to connect red and black wires, Im confused there are total 3 terminals on the board. Video is not showing exactly. Pls
There's only two connections: a negative and positive. Take an Ohm meter and find the two that create zero ohms and this will be the negative (that's black). In most cases within the barrel of your connector the center is positive (red).

How did you get the screws off that are underneath the CD drive?
you have to kind of pry out the black cover that is part of the cd drive
