Agree. Very sweet. But I realize now that there was a heartbreaking farewell to another then. No matter how well prepared you try to be the loss is there. But again, new life and adventures are to be had. Wishing you both safe trips. Look after yourself and puppy. (I'm bad with names, be it doggies or humans).

I rescued a dog from a local shelter in honor of my sweet girl after she passed after 15.5 years. She passed last July and I still miss her so much every day, but I'm so glad I rescued our sweet shelter boy from endless days in a cage. ❤
I actually looked for ages all over the country, my last dog was an adult when I adopted him and I didn’t actually want a puppy buttttt - sometimes the right dog just calls to you. She was abandoned at a shelter at 4 weeks old and also deserves a loving home ❤
