The trees are becoming more established and some had lots of blossom, but I missed it. I can see small fruits forming, but I probably won't let them form to help them focus on roots and leaves 👍

Thank you! Yes, it's quite wonderful....it was behind many other modern mirrors, but I could see the wooden frame and top shape and knew I had to look further. It was £8 and I love the way the mirror itself has started to age with tiny speckles 👍

Very happy you are back in Portugal. I understand how you must feel alone as my husband went to help my son in Cape Breton when he was opening a new camping site, he was gone for 4 weeks and I was very happy to see him get back home. You will find. A lot to do to keep you busy and time will go fast, just make sure to rest and take it one day at the time and enjoy your time alone, sometime it’s good to have sometime to ourselves. Though I had miss my hubby, I took that time to do things I loved to do and it was in the late Fall and had to look at cleaning our very long driveway when we had snow with our old pickup and did the job pretty good and was proud of myself. I also had to look after our heating wood furnace and go in our basement and quite a few times everyday to make sure to keep our very large home warm, even got up every night to ho fill the furnace with wood. Take care and we will keep watching you and what you occupy your days with. I noticed that your dog is not with you, too bad you did not bring him, he would have been good company. Take care, pray 🙏🏻 and God will be with you during these few weeks by yourself.

Charity shops are a blessing we just made a major move and were so blessed to have found some wonderful furniture at very reasonable price so kudos Elaine glad you guys are going home. Happy you made it safely, it’s kind of nerve wracking to make a long journey by yourself after being on trip with your husband, I used to drive a lot but since husband retired we make trips together but I never want to stop driving as I enjoy being independent. Yes, Plymouth to Santander in Spain, makes the journey much more manageable, missing out France. I do miss Darren and Max, but we talk everyday so that helps 👍

That is weird. I guess you just can not walk away from your other home and garden. Someone has to look after things. And poor Max sat with sad eyes while you packed the car all up and then didn't get to go with. I hope Daryn plays the videos with your voice for Max. Where did the roof rake go to? Hi David, excellent question 👍 No, as a resident I am legally allowed to drive my PT car in UK. If I was not a PT resident, I would not be allowed to. Our PT car insurance covers us fully for 90days outside PT. Our issue with the car taking so long to be fixed, was that after 90 days our insurers reduced our cover to 3rd party once we explained all the delays we had had getting fixed. We were happy with that and kept them informed of our progress and now we're back to full cover in PT. Hope that helps 👍

Though I had miss my hubby, I took that time to do things I loved to do and it was in the late Fall and had to look at cleaning our very long driveway when we had snow with our old pickup and did the job pretty good and was proud of myself. I also had to look after our heating wood furnace and go in our basement and quite a few times everyday to make sure to keep our very large home warm, even got up every night to ho fill the furnace with wood. Take care and we will keep watching you and what you occupy your days with. I noticed that your dog is not with you, too bad you did not bring him, he would have been good company. Take care, pray 🙏🏻 and God will be with you during these few weeks by yourself.
Thanks for sharing your experiences too, that's kind. Good for you being self sufficient, we know we can do things when we have to, I think we slip into roles and preferred jobs within a couple and then sometimes forget how much more we can do. Yes, I must admit, I am enjoying some time to myself.

Charity shops are a blessing we just made a major move and were so blessed to have found some wonderful furniture at very reasonable price so kudos Elaine glad you guys are going home. Happy you made it safely, it’s kind of nerve wracking to make a long journey by yourself after being on trip with your husband, I used to drive a lot but since husband retired we make trips together but I never want to stop driving as I enjoy being independent. But I truly admire you as you drove in different countries, that’s awesome. I have never left the states & I will be 77 in few months. Looking forward to your next video. Rest & enjoy the sunshine.

Yes, Plymouth to Santander in Spain, makes the journey much more manageable, missing out France. I do miss Darren and Max, but we talk everyday so that helps 👍

That is weird. I guess you just can not walk away from your other home and garden. Someone has to look after things. And poor Max sat with sad eyes while you packed the car all up and then didn't get to go with. I hope Daryn plays the videos with your voice for Max. Where did the roof rake go to?

No, as a resident I am legally allowed to drive my PT car in UK. If I was not a PT resident, I would not be allowed to.
Our PT car insurance covers us fully for 90days outside PT.
Our issue with the car taking so long to be fixed, was that after 90 days our insurers reduced our cover to 3rd party once we explained all the delays we had had getting fixed.
We were happy with that and kept them informed of our progress and now we're back to full cover in PT.
