Did she have a point-spread on the game that went awry. Doesn't matter. Now I know how things work in women's basketball as well.
Here are my thoughts on Iowa Women's Basketball, if anyone cares... What's happening with Iowa Women's Basketball is a phenomenon. Everywhere they go they sell out arenas. People who have never been to a women's college basketball game in their lives come just to root against Clark and the Iowa team. The few games that Iowa has fallen were celebrated by people who never cared about women's basketball and will probably never go to another game. Every single team they play wants to destroy them. Their opponents shoot better than they ever shot, their scoring percentages are higher, and their bench players come in and score points they've never scored. The fact that Iowa has only lost 3 games this year, shows exactly how damned good this team really is. When they finally get into some games, ie tournament, where they want to destroy the other team worse than that team wants to destroy them, watch out. When they finally embrace the killer instinct, I do believe they will be unstoppable. Right now, it is absolutely unsustainable for Iowa to play every opponent like it's a tournament game, but that's exactly how every team is playing them.
What a flop by Iowa hawkeyes coach lisa bluder, run your damn offense consistently through the whole game, Caitlin Clark gonna break record but don't do it at the cost of your team and losing a game they should've won! Hope this doesn't come back to haunt Iowa!

@@MrGunner945 Time will tell. CC won't be there next year, presumably. It may be Stuelke's time to rise. We'll see.
NEWSFLASH to BLuder - it is NOT about politics or PR or being "touchy feely" or "having fun" it's about all in with the greatest team in girls history. The give away losing is getting old.
Yo these comments so funny ,its crazy how people will have all the great things to say about you once you are winning but as soon as you come up short they quick to pull you down.
Sorry but maybe CC not feeling well had something to do with it
@daniellewis5474She scored 31 & another double double. CC still played better than anyone else.
Chokers 😂
Feb 22!
Bad coaching in the 4th
I guess someone was taunting Clark or something let's wait and hear the excuses for this loss Clark blew it from logo
Worst coaching job this year they was so set on getting Clark the record at home that going into the 4th with 31 points and a 14 point lead she takes 1 shot and scores 0 points in the 4th and Iowa just lost just terrible coaching
Her 31 points aren't enough to win a basketball game. This narrative about her scoring is useless when they lose 4 games..
@@FknTorn-xv2xs what are you talking about I watched the whole game she didn’t take a shot until the last 3 seconds of the 4th qt after scoring 31 in the first 3 qts …she had open shots and passed the ball until a turnover occurred, they was up 14 going into the 4th
I agree. Iowa's coach stole the game from her players. Does it ALWAYS have to be about money, ticket sales and politics. So tired of it. Now it's crept into women's basketball. See ya.
lol at these comments... Iowa has a high-seed locked up going into March and obviously wants to make history at home, even the home fans at this game would have rather seen CC make history than their team get a win that will be rendered meaningless and memory-holed in the 1st quarter of Iowa's next game.
CC is a choker, CC can't win alone, etc...
The only dumb comments that are correct in the slightest are the ones mentioning that Iowa wins this game 10/10 times if Caitlyn wasn't determined to giver her home fans the view of history being made, all the rest of the takes here are comedy.
Credit to Nebraska, though. Iowa should have won this regardless of all the outside noise but Nebraska came to do more than just play and earned a helluva celebration for Super Bowl Sunday night. A lot of commenters need a reminder that it isn't March, tho
Caitlin Clark's personal accolades are way more important then the team's performance! Way to go Bluder letting your other players know their place!😒
@@nicholasmallard2926 Their other players are more than capable of winning that game. They fell down on offensive rebounds and pure fundamentals.
@@shellya6212Bullsh** this was all about profit for the next home game! I heard Iowa is actually charging people 600 dollars just to see her break this record! That's pure Insanity in this economy for a regular season game!
@@nicholasmallard2926 it is the secondary market charging for the tickets…all the Iowa games were sold out before the season…get a clue..
Not this "home fan." Iowa cheated the fans who traveled hundreds of miles to see her break that record. So many young kids watched a contrived 4th quarter shut-down. Shameful. Bluder should be fired.
Coach Lisa Blunder showed up... what team was that wearing Iowa jerseys in the 4th quarter? Looked like zombies..
Coaching lost this game!! Pretty sad.

Iowa is a one trick pony
Iowa got stomped in the 4th
Worse than the terminal kids they wave to 😬
Wow, that's one of the most ignorant things I've seen in a long time. Ever known someone with a terminal kid?
@@shellya6212 it is unbelievable how pathetic the internet is, isn’t it….
Iowa needs to be penalized for point shaving and losing that game on purpose
GBR!!!!!
Caitlin Clark and Iowa exposed. They’re absolutely overrated
I'm glad Clark lost, now I hope Swift loses the Super Bowl, total victory, ha ha ha.
lol swifts team won F off maga
Miserable much?
Kyle Shannhan being a Dummy by not running the football lost this Superbowl now we all have to suffer from the Taylor nonsense!🤮
They lost this game because of one player and her desire to score the remaining points on her home floor.
White Privilege Kaitlyn too focused on her scoring record than help her team win this one LMAO!!!
Tell everyone you're a racist without yelling everyone you're a racist. CC live free in your small brain.
This is a pretty ignorant post……it is called basketball and I do think the record was a distraction once she reached 31…but where do you get white privilege from ?? Sports is about results so leave your racial issues out of it. This 22yr old is about to become the all time leading scores in women’s basketball and none of that has anything to do with her race…..
I have white privilege, too. Every Monday (tomorrow) the White Privilege Van comes out and I get my fresh weekly supply of White Privilege. I never ever have to pay traffic tickets, I get A's in school without even attending and I don't even have to show up for work and I get paid, on top of which I get 7 months paid vacation every 9 months. Ah, yes, white privilege is wonderful!
