- Today we interviewed Hakan who is a 2nd year medical student in the brand new international course of University of Padova. In part 1 of the interview we talk about the university structure, exams, classes, fees, and even dissections. It was an incredibly surprising interview for Serra.

Not quite yet, we have a few students but it's hard to find someone willing to give a somewhat unbiased opinion! We're hoping to have completed all of the universities by the end of May though so fingers crossed!

Hi Hakan, I read in the comments that you prefer to keep private. I went to premed in Budapest and then continued in Semmelweis for 2 years and then stopped. Did you transfer or applied as a new student? It'd be nice to hear back from you.

Actually I can't undrestand what's the diffrence between medical universities and medical schools. And in this interview Hakan is using the word "school" but it's written "university" in the caption, So there is no difference between these two or that was just a little mistake during the interview?
And if there's difference, Could you please talk about that one day?
It's the same thing, it's not a mistake, it's exchangeable
Hi serra im Sri lankan and im 3rd year mbbs student in zhengzhou medical university of China but im looking for another university to transfer from my current university because china has closed their borders since 2020 and we are doing teachings online since then. My question is can i transfer to a Italian medical university from my current university ? so im from Asian country. is it possible ?
When is the pre enrollment for Padova starting and do we have to do it on universitaly or separately?
I believe that is is already started, you should check the padova website to be sure :)
most courses in the university are taught in Italian which is a major set back for international students
They're all taught in English!

Does University of Padova still have the English programme for Medicine and Surgery ? I want to apply for this upcoming year ( 2022-2023) but last time it shows they are accepting applications was July 6,2020..

Usually around 2-3 weeks :)
I think they usually open the call to applicants around April and close in August,

You should start reading some articles on our website then that can give you a lot more information :)

Not sure what you mean, but clinical experience will eventually be integrated into the curriculum which might have morning or evening rotations

It depends on the professor
If any one achieve full schlorship and want to live in a private room so the university gives the rent of that room or not?

If you are independent just yours, otherwise of your parents as well. All assets as well.
Is there age limit to study medicine in Italy?

We didn't ask, but Padova's cut off score last year was 27.5 for non-eu.

Your channel is really great, but it would be even better if your interlocutors spoke better English and had better microphones. Nevertheless, thank you, to them and to you....
You can't be picky when you're desperate. We just wanted to find at least one student from every university willing to do it, you'd be really surprised with how difficult of a task this is.
