Yep this guy knows what he is doing. Usually you do the job once the right way . Flatbed is different you havto check everything and sometimes re secure .
I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. Taking your advice really helped me out a lot here at CRST. My revenue really has approved a lot each week. Thanks for all the tricks and tips.
You bet brother that’s the only reason I do it, I’m just trying to pay it forward the best I can as I enter the last few years of my career… What I do used to not be so uncommon, it truly used to be a tightknit brotherhood out here but somehow we made a wrong turn to where most drivers are all about themselves now, I don’t want to look back and have those kind of regrets. Let me know if there’s ever anything specific, I can help you with and if I don’t know the answer, I’ll do the very best I can to try to help you figure it out God bless
10:38 I agree! I'm not sure if it's the tolls, the mountains or the DOT, but I dislike it very much. Just found your channel (and subbed) and lovin' the content so far!
I always see truckers make comments online about why someone parks next to them when half the truck stop is empty. This is why. I want to sleep and they're already there.
also bro tha quality of mechanics is just the bottom of tha barrell. i went to tha ta in greencastle pa for an alignment it came out worse. i paid like $1400 for steers at another ta in va. didnt even balance them. spent $130 at a loves the next day to get them balanced and they still wernt properly balanced🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ i just said fucc it.
Man, you ain’t kidding it’s one of the biggest battles I face I’m so thankful to have two good mechanics that I can use because they’re super rare and super hard to find nowadays
@@sturgelltruckingllc4074 ive been trying to find a good one, but i live in pittsburgh pa man and the best i can get are all the way in ohio...i can do small things but im a mason by trade, not mechanic soo im kind of useless lol...but i hate hate hate tha loves and ta's and shit. i stoped passed a mom and pop place in south dakota and it was tha best experience i had on the road. pulled in and out $85 and they did it right. ive seen dudes waiting over 4 hours for a trailer to get replaced with the trailer already in the bay...like idk what makes them waste sooo much time.
I don’t really know buddy it’s not like I’ve tried them all but I can tell you after installing these new bulldog shocks from 4states truck they do seem to be a lot better built than your typical Monroe‘s 🤙
Hey I think I seen you a couple days ago on highway you had that small truck strapped on back of flatbed damn brother stay safe out there thinking of coming over for flatbed do they train new flatbed drivers with no experience or require it been doing vans for about 2 years
@@sturgelltruckingllc4074 yea heard it’s about a week but would not feel comfortable on my own after a week thinking of going to maverick for maybe 3 months or so then coming over thanks!
Damn 694 miles..good day..how fast do you drive? Does the flow below help with fuel mileage? How does your truck do on fuel mileage? Thanks, enjoy your content.
There should be reject option for unidentified driver? Also the six guys packed in bunk of that Volvo messes pivot point up for backing. C’om Matt duh! Thanks have safe week!
I don’t know I guess that depends on each company and there rules, again off the record a guy could just get out and do his pre-trip and if they find anything that needs fixed just idle over to the truckstop shop to get it taken care of or fix it themselves before starting the clock If nothing is wrong just get back in the truck hit pre-trip have another cup of coffee. Wait about 10 minutes and go🤙
When you said the hardest part is leaving the family...yeah...it does suck, it really is the hardest part
