I wish they would show it cutting taller grass. I really like this mower though.
I'd love to get my hands on one of those for a day or two just to see how much more time I could save mowing my larger properties (7-13 acres) with this
I worked at a golf course and we bought one of these brand new. It gets fields done twice as fast as any other mower we had...
@@nathanhearn8914 I do a few large properties including a town house complex and it take me all day with my 60" zero turn. I can imagine how fast this would speed things up for me. I'm looking at options for next year but waiting to see what work i get
@@JonsDailyHustle Its like having 4 zero turns mowing at once. And its fast. But of course you need a LOT of grass to justify one of these !

@@rideoutsean I doubt the mechanics at that golf course would allow it to go down, we had a toro mower from the 80s still going out to mow everyday 😅😂 but I hear you jacobsens have their issues! But I was extremely impressed with the engendering of these mowers. A golf course is like a mowing obstacle course and this mower was a pleasure to use everyday
Not sure of the price but a comparable model like the Jacobsen HR600 goes for $80k brand new. If you Google it there's an 2018 HR600 with 300 hours selling for $45,750.
5111 model was my favorite
I've watched a few of these big lawn mower videos and everyone of them only show cutting grass no taller than a few inces. Are these mowers only for a finish cut or are they capable of cutting 6" plus tall grass?
blueknight well I’ll tell you where I work we have an OLD Jacobsen hr5111, and I mowed grass that was at least 10” and it handled it fairly well. However I had to triple cut it to get rid of all the clippings
Blueknight it is the same as the Baroness just a trimming mower mainly used on golf courses

what degree of slope angle can it mow ? thanks
Hi Mark, the HR700 has tilt sensor technology, which means at 16 degrees, a slope angle warning will be displayed. At 20 degrees (with ROPS) or 19 degrees (with cab) the cutting unit lift function will be disabled. At 23 degrees (with ROPS) or 21 degrees (with cab) the machine will stop cutting until a safe angle is reached again. Hope that helps!
Don’t wanna go to much of slope you can pop tire off the rim with weight. It beeps when u kinda get on a slope but as you go you can just feel out machine and your comfort zone

I'm a surgeon and must agree, it's not a good sign when a company refuses to list a price, especially when directly asked. For that reason alone I feel they are sketchy and won't be purchasing from them.
