I cried so much in this episode... when they are in the car and she thinks he's driving her to the wedding but he's driving to the train station... and the car stops and he tells her what he's doing and she thinks he doesn't want to marry her anymore but then he tells her he's setting her free because this is how he loves her... OMG it was wonderfully terrible ♥
When I watched this episode for the first time when it aired, it made me cry. Now it makes me upset. Upset because now I am older I understand it more. Upset because I miss the old Glee. Upset to hear and see the original members growing up and getting on with their own lives...engagements, babies, divorces and deaths.
When I first listened to this song, I was only 13. Today, I am 17 and now I fully understand why Finn made the choice that he made. He wanted Rachel to have a better future. Like the song says "gotta have roots before branches" you can't skip a big step in your life to follow another.
My choir does this every year as the final song for the seniors so when they come back a year or two later they can get up on stage with fellow choir kids this song never fails to make us all cry when we see our seniors carrying the candles in the graduation caps and gowns
I love this song but I still cry watching it in the episode. Cory/finn was my favorite character on glee and all allways will be. I know he is resting in peace. But his spirit lives in everyone who new him and all us gleeks. So at least his spirit lives on forever. RIP CORY MONTEITH.

It is. I'm watching the show now, and I'm almost finished with season 5 now. This is the first time I'm watching it, so I already knew about Finn/Cory's death before I watched this episode, and I bawled during this scene. It's so sad seeing all the memorials throughout the show after his death, but I'm glad they honored him. But I am happy Rachel eventually got a happy ending and so did Lea.
I adore this song x when it shows Cory sending Lea in her way to fulfil her dreams it reminds me of when my dad passed away when I was 7 and the fact he told me that when I get older I was to follow my dreams - this is one of those moments she you have flashbacks about lost loved ones - but I also remember him saying that he is always in my heart no matter what x I feel a deep connection to this song now x
