Having lived in the Middle East, Europe and the US, I can say that Pizza Hut, KFC and McDonald's are the best in the Middle East!! :D Also, it's not surprising that you didn't find bacon for breakfast. Pork items come under religious restrictions in predominantly-Islamic countries...
