  • A custom build steel flatbed tray, here is the full build in under 10 mins! I made this video for the people that want to quickly watch the whole process to help them on their own custom trays! I really enjoyed making this video and watching the process myself as so much time and work goes into a project this big but the end result is so worth it! I love the look of the custom steel trays and cannot wait to use this beast more now! thanks for watching and I hope this video inspires some people to give it a crack, thanks guys :)

I did a similar build around 30 years ago on a Ford P100D, although I used reclaimed 2 inch thick oak boards for the bed rather than sheet steel, whole build took three afternoons plus a couple of hours on the forth day for wiring up the lights.

A lot of people act like disregarding safety measures is badass, until the point they are humbled by their own mistakes. It is foolish having impressionable youth looking up to you and fail to set a good standard for them, otherwise killed the tray despite the obvious inexperience with metalwork.

Now flip the hitch and bolt it to the top of the frame, would give more ground clearance in the rear and fill the gap between bed and frame.
