Rock Auto (not sponsored) carries HEPA cabin air filters for some cars. They are usually an upgrade from the OEM filter or whatever they put in at the oil change place. I got one with activated carbon this time around for my Volkswagen. It seems to help with the exhaust from other cars, you know, if you end up driving behind one of those pickup truck that spews out a cloud of black exhaust when they take off at a light. I also got in the habit of switching the control to recirculate if I am driving through a construction site or other dusty area. It's easy to change in most cars, they are either behind the glove box or in the passenger foot well. It saves a lot of money and takes about 10 minutes.

This purifier has cadr only 170m3/h, is it enough?
Just I faced the following problem. I bought iqair atem car, but it has so small cadr of 60m3/h, so I it can only clean air inside my car when I use recirculation. However, in this case co2 is increasing very rapidly so it may be harmful. Thus I need some powerful purifier which will be able to rapidly clean new air from outside. Is it possible? Or you use only recirculation mode in your car when you use purifier?
I am just starting to go through not being able to go outside without respirator mask. Have you found a smaller more inconspicuous mask to use

Hmm...you probably just have to air it out for a long time. When my parents buy a new car, they need to keep the windows open for more than 6 months before I can get in the car. You can speed it up with a fan or air purifier, but might still take a long time.
Some cabin filters come with activated charcoal.

Yes! They sell those for most cars to replace the regular cabin air filter. My blower doesn't blow as strong, but I got a good sun shade and park in a garage most of the time.
Why do you use a battery instead of a small car inverter? They cost like $30 on Amazon
I tried that before but drained my car battery too fast...but I’m not a car expert so maybe I did it wrong.
@@JeffreyLin a big inverted will but you only need one of less than 300 watts so unless your battery is already dying you shouldn't have any problems. They connect to the 12v lighter power of the car.

IQAir car purifier ?
Hey Gustavo, I have the IQair health pro for my house. It’s great for dust/particles but not very good for chemicals/VOCs. Haven’t tried the IQair car purifier but I’ll let you know if I eventually get one and how it compares.
