    I've got one with the same finish but a maple fret board and a black pick guard. I've never owned a real Fender Jazz, so don't know if it is really is as good as the real thing, but I can say it sounds, feels, and looks great

    Great review! Thanks for posting. The bass sounds and looks great. I haven't seen a bad review on this bass yet. I know people talk about the weight, but I've been playing a Fender Highway 1 P bass for eleven years, so no biggie. I just got a Harley Benton BZ 4000 NT and it is amazing for the price. This one in black is my next bass as I do not have a JB.

      @LanceShelton  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2Timone7 I thought about getting the one in black, but I already have black basses and I like the sunburst color also. I like the BZ models! I want to try one one day. How is the weight on that one?

    • @2Timone7
      @2Timone7 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      LanceShellzShelton The BZ is very lightweight and has versatile sound. You can also switch from active to passive. It has an 18 V system, too, using two 9 V batteries. I really like it a lot. It is the other end of the spectrum from my P. My P is sunburst. 👍🏼

    Great review and even greater playing! I was wondering if you’d suggest this over something like a Sire Marcus Miller V3?

    • @LanceShelton
      @LanceShelton  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I personally think the Sire is easily the better of the two instruments, but if you can’t afford the sire, this is a good bass to get. The two are different in that this is a passive bass versus most of the sire models are active/passive.
      It’s still a great instrument to buy either way.

    That bass sounds really awesome considering the price. I have the Marcus Miller Fender Signature Bass and it doesn't sound much better in my opinion (maybe except if you play it single pickup)

    I'm tempted to get one of the jazz and progressive basses there.

      GospelMusic4Life they play really well. They just feel a little different compared to a fender/Squier. Great for the money though!

    I want to buy this bass..i liked the looks of it and the tones. Is there anything that i should know before i buy ?

    • @LanceShelton
      @LanceShelton  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really outside of what I shared in the video. It’s a good bass still. I was practicing with it the other day. It’s holding up pretty well.

    No fret problems?

    • @LanceShelton
      @LanceShelton  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Actually, none. I know that is something that could potentially be an issue for an inexpensive instrument, but the frets arent sharp and don’t buzz.

    • @robertsagan9722
      @robertsagan9722 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's around 11 or 12 lbs. It's not that heavy actually, the weight is evenly distributed so it feels much lighter than it actually is.
