i love that godzilla is just a huge intelligent animal who only cares about his own mission and balance of the world. i think its way more interesting if we dont know what godzilla is thinking. unlike kong who is VERY expressive, kong is cool too but godzilla is something else.
Tbh I just really love the design they gave Godzilla in GvK. Its not all soft and rould like in KOTM but its not like the trispikes of G14 either. Its a nice balance theyve struck between the two to make for a ferocious Big G. Also like Kongs design, as it fits his personality in the film, being plenty old, grizzled and proud, and yet having his fair share of intelligence.
I think my favorite shot is of Godzilla looking at Mothra. The whole movie as well as Godzilla vs Kong, it feels like Godzillas been pent up with so much rage. So when he sees Mothra again after her sacrifice in KOTM, it brings a sense of realization and calmness to him.
That tiny detail at 1:25 when Godzillas atomic breath pauses as the aircrafts approach, the charge up sounds frequency gets an octave or 2 lower. Crazy good!
Evolved Godzilla going into his super charged state while charging up his atomic breath was my fav scene of the movie. The pink really added onto the scene because of how unique it made it look.
