Sooooo good with track selection and knew when to run it back when necessary. Humble on the mic and spoke when he had something to say,,,,,no jibber jabber nonsense that others feel is necessary when the mic is in their hand. Simplicity is everything. Thank you Shaka for years of upliftment :)
i was on this dance.. very spiritual..all night long shaka vibes..his old and new public..this session was very inspiring as always and gave a lot of inspiration, motivation and power to continue the life journey.. thank you shaka for this inspiration and power
I have been listening to Shaka since I was 13 it was a dub clash with Fatman Coxsone and Quaker city at the Newlands Club High Wycombe the rules were 2 /2 meaning you play 2 in turns. But when Shaka bring out the 10" inch slates out of a cardboard box and played so many different styles of that rythim the other sounds had to wait till he finished.sometimes they tried to play over his set.then the promoter Sailor would turn the lights on😆on nearing the venue the windows were vibrating and I loved to see them Aluminium power amps tubes just glowing and that old Garrard turntable with the 2p on the arm,and the spliff burnt the foam were it was resting......memories Jah Shaka had the best sound system by far👉 following Tuder Rose and the Rocket never fogotten part of me growing up!" I'm still on this journey Rasta Journey,"
Nice memories, I was at a sound clash with Fatman and coxsone sounds in Tottenham club Noreik, you should see the crowd waiting to get in. One of the best nights ever
First time I heard Shaka I thought we were having an earthquake, THE WEIGHT, THE BASS I'll never forget it, I heard weight but not like that and that was 1976.
I know what you mean about "EARTHQUAKE" scary right? Well I thought I was going to have a heart attack but my fingers swelled up like King Charles fingers lol
Never heard that before, but the feel of it is a bit Mad Professor. It's not an old one. Good one though. If you find out, please comment, Best Wishes :)

There is no one that plays like him. No messing about, drops the Bass from the start and lets the tune play unless there is a rewind.

I was listening to an interview with Jah Shaka's son. He (Young Warrior) said that his Dad had upto 48 bass scoops of 18" 😳 bloodclart 😂.
Kunta Kinte is perhaps the best dubplate ever recorded

Sounds like a young warrior dubplate
@@crenshaw91 it does... i recognize the drums patterns and or a slight of MAFIA&FLUXY flavor 🎵🎶
Sounds more like Disciples Riddim Section to me.
Mad dubplate! I think it's the vibe of Mafia & Fluxy
