Oh, Larry, how happy I am to hear that you have the same opinion about the Losers duet. Tbh, it makes me sad that I cannot recommend this book left and right due to the fact that is a why choose and because of the TW :(… ok, the spice is amazing and hot and etc., but this book is more than that. The mental health issues were so beautifully discussed, it makes you think twice, you know? Also, the love between them is so beautiful, tbh, I don’t think I’ve seen something similar in a long time. It’s the love they have for their little family, between each other, as lovers, as friends, how they all love her. It is truly special and even though it’s been a year since I’ve read the book I still think about the characters quite often. I just can’t move on… Same goes with Leon. Idk, there’s something about the way Harley writes or IDK… I am so glad you loved this book as much as I did. Also, as for brutal obsession, I felt the same way as you on this. Even though I LOVE bully dark romance, sometimes I felt like… why? Is it necessary for Grey to be like that? FR now… it seemed like too much sometimes, like the author was really trying to make this book a dark romance bully romane instead of a normal bully romance and threw there all the bad in Grey’s head. It did sell it for me. It was like reading After, but shorter.
How you feel with brutal obsession is how I felt with Punk 57. I thought Misha was SO unbearably mean but the way the whole book flowed and the ending and just getting to know Misha made me LOVE him. That book is in my top 5 so your thoughts on brutal obsession is making me want to give it read lol
